This is a great beauty school. The last student that did my hair was Tasha Nicholson and she was excellent - fast - friendly - and helpful. I think the Career Academy of Beauty in Garden Grove is the best. I am very happy to have my hair done here and recommend it to all my friends.

I went to Career Academy of Beauty in Garden Grove for a Vitamin C facial. My skin is still glowing ask for Lumi.
I was a previous student at this beauty school back in 20002 and I continue to have my facials done there. For the price your getting a high end spa facial for 80% less than what a spa would charge and these girls are not in a hurry.

Everyone is so friendly and they do a fantastic job! I highly recommend the Career Academy to everyone! The beauty school is an affordable way for everyone to get a professional style for less! One of the students Bonner does fabulous blow-outs!

I went to this school for a weave and a cut, and usually am very picky about who touches my hair, but a coworker or mine insisted that she wanted to do my hair...so with reluctance I went...and with great surprise walked out with a great overall color instead of highlights which would have damaged my already paperthin hair, and a very age appropriate haricut...my student stylist is Marie and she showed great professionalism as well as the ability to keep her clients entertained and happy. 5 gold stars for my nite favorite student...will definitely recommend Marie to friends and family.

Career Academy of Beauty in Garden Grove, CA is a good place to go for hair coloring, haircuts & styling. It's a beauty school where the students are taught very well. I had a great experience the 3 times that I had gone to Career Academy of Beauty in Garden Grove, CA. Kelly and Lisa have colored my hair and I always love the color! Mariah the instuctor always choose great color combinations, the colors are always so rich and sexy .Thanks! The students take alot of pride in their work and it shows. I have been very impressed with the school, it's very afforable and I feel that they do a better job than the salons that I had gone to in the past. I plan to be a regular client. I highly recommend this school as a salon.

I had my hair cut by Sara Veiga, and she did an outstanding job, mad emy hair look and feel alot more healthier but the style of cut she gave me. She pick the best hairstyle for me. I HAVE HAD JUST ABOUT EVERYTHING DONE AT CAREER ACADEMY OF BEAUTY AND EVERY STUDENT HAS BEEN SO NICE AND YOU WOULD NOT THINK THEY WERE STUDENTS. THE WORK THEY LEARN THEY TAKE VERY SERIOUSLY AND ARE ONLY OUT TO MAKE US THE CUSTOMERS VERY HAPPY AND SATISFIED WITH WHAT WE HAD DONE. I had a great experience with Bonner at the Career Academy of Beauty in Garden Grove, CA.. He was enthusiastic and knowledgeable. Took extra time and my hair turned out great. I have gone to the Academy for a few years now and have never had a bad hair day. I'll keep going. I recommend them to any onw who is looking for a place to go. The Beauty School has a great reputation in my book with instructors on the floor at all times.

Natalie took the time to figure out my color and since someone had lost my card decided that I should add something to the color. I got great results and my color is fabulous. I've been going there since 1999, I think, and most of the students have been VERY good. I was really impressed with Natalie this time!!!

I have been going to Career Academy of Beauty for about 10 years now. I started going there because of the high standards in hygiene. First nails, then facials and then hair. I have had almost every kind of service at this beauty school and now take my teenage daughter. I always recommend it. All the students that have given me services there are really good at what they do and are always nice and friendly - especially Martha and Michelle (who work at the front desk). I have had such great hair cuts and highlight services that people have asked me where I get me hair done. My daughter just had a Brazilian Blowout Hair treatment. It looks fabulous and feels great. Mandy and Lorena did a great job. I'm having it done on my hair next week with the same ladies. On top of it all - the services at the school are very affordable! I highly recommend this school as a salon.

This is a beauty school with all services done by the students. I recently had a hair touch up and am very satisfied at the attention they gave.
Also had a Vitamin C Facial and my eyebrows shaped at a prior visit. I've tried several of their services and can honestly say that they give excellent services overall.
My sister started using them years ago and convinced me to give them a try. I've been their patron ever since.

I had a facial here and loved it! I tried a vitamin C and my student was amazing. It was like I was on a vacation. The Day Teacher was very helpful in helping me choose the facial and made me feel comfortable.

After losing my job and searching multiple schools that did not help me one bit, I was beginning to feel a bit hopeless. My friend recommended giving CAofB a shot, so I immediately set up my appointment to check out the school. After a brief meeting and tour, I was starting to think maybe something good could actually come out of this. Im 21 years old with no job, no parental assistance, no credit, and CAofB made it work for me. I have now been enrolled for almost a month, and I have never been so happy and proud of myself before. CAofB really works with your schedule, and offer a few different schedules to fit the needs of practically anyone. The prices are extremely reasonable, and the staff go out of their way to assist you and make it happen. Without CAofB, I honestly do not know where I would be right now. I am so thankful to have found the school and some really great friends as well!

I love getting a facial I can afford! Student Dae loves what she does, you can feel her passion during the treatment. Her night instructor Ms Christina is wonderful and she cares about each client and student.

On the hair side of things Ms Kathy and Ms Tina have years of experience to share with their students when it comes to consultations. Mr Perez enjoys his work and takes interest in his students progress. I get my hair highlights done here and have never been disappoint, my weekly trip is for a shampoo and style, I feel fresh for the weekend.

Student Janet really knows how to straighten with a nice back comb to fluff up my heavy hair. Natalie takes over on days I want lots of curls and when I need a mood change I ask for Molly, she has a great positive attitude.

Bottom line, I love this place! I can afford to change my look and feel better on a weekly basis!

I've been at Career Academy since April of 2008 and for the most part I've been really happy here. I know the night students do some great work. A lot of people come to us for color instead of a salon and they always leave happy.

At Career Academy of Beauty, it doent feel like a beauty school it feels like a salon. its the same effect but better. You know your helping a student reach goals and also giving them some practice. Everytime I go in I never wait more than 5 minutes. The services are so wonderful. The way you look and feel when you come out is unbeliable for what you paid. Its almost as if it's a steal. All of the students are unique and fun. So sweet to everyone. I would have to say without playing favorites. I love Delaney. She always does exactly what I say nad she tells me the truth what is good. I truly am thankful for her. If you go here to get a service, you will not be disappinted! I Love Career Academy of Beauty!

Large heads of hair no problem. Cowlick, a gray patch resistant to colour dye or you just wanna change up you looks. the instructors overseeing the students leave you looking just as good as any other high end salon. Cut color weave reverse or otherwise normally goes 120. to 160. Ca of Beauty out the door less than 40 dollars. the school is loud with music and the students are all experimenting with their own hair so its quite the scene. facials (they use dermalogica) waxings, been going there since 94.

I'm currently enrolled in the manicuring program, after considering a few other schools I'm confident I made the right decision in choosing CAofB.
I would recommend this school to anybody who is serious about becoming a manicurist. The school is well organized and structured to make sure all the students? needs/requirements are met.
The instructors are well educated and have extensive experience in the beauty industry; I'm positive that I'm learning everything I need to know in order to succeed in the manicuring field.

After comparing the quality and prices of services
to the "fancy" salons there remains no doubt
that the Career Academy of Beauty is a great
bargain. I have saved hundreds of dollars
in recent years by having my hair done at

The quality of service is just as good as that of the
high priced salons where I formerly wasted my money.
Martha is very kind, caring and knowledgeable about

I have been coming here for years. My appointments are fairly on time and walk ins are not bad. I have not come on a Saturday.
Sometimes students need to borrow supplies from others. Alfred the teacher gives good suggestions when asked. Location in Garden Grove is easy to find.

First off they remembered my name when I walked in. After a friendly greeting I was whisked off by student for a color and cut. There is always friendly conservstion and professional service. The teacher stoped by to say hellow and inspect the students work. They take time to do the little things to make great color and cut just perfect. You will feel and look 100 percent better. That is enough turn any grump into a face with a giant smile.

At Career Academy of Beauty they are teaching every step of the way so it is a benefit to student and customers that they take their time, that's why I don't mind it taking a bit longer, the beauty school, is clean, the people are friendly and when Delaney does my hair I am always very pleased. And I think all the new up dates to the school itself is great especially the windows. Tipping big is a pleasure because these students work very hard, thank you staff and students.

I have long long hair and I am always nervous when I go into a beauty school to get my hair cut. I heard about this place from a friend and tried it out last week. I just got a hair cut and it came out perfect! Delaney did my hair and she took her time and really did exactly what I wanted. I would for sure refer this place to anyone! The price is good and you get an amazing service. The location is easy to find and has ton of great parking!!!
So don't be hesitant to get your hair done, THE DO A GREAT JOB!!!

Martha and Mr. Alfred are very good with suggestions. This is one of the best beauty schools in the area and easy to get to. Right off fwy 22 in garden grove. There is lots of free parking. Johnny cruz great with color-lots of practice and knows how to do weaves in mult. colors. IF you have not tried the career academy of beauty school you should call and make an appointment especially for fridays and saturdays; otherwise walk in. Tues. haircut discount day and Wed. senoir discount day. I WOULD GIVE IT 5 STARS

The Career Academy of Beauty is the best beauty school in Orange County. Crystal was my stylist and she was professional, personable and knowledgeable. Going to this beauty school not only do you have the stylist but you have a professor looking over their shoulder at all times . . . you can't go wrong. I have gone to this beauty school for 3 years and have yet to be disappointed. If there is anything wrong with your service, they will correct the problem. It is so affordable and the staff is professional.
