The ACCHS Community Clinic is a clinic of traditional Chinese medicine that is open to the public. The clinic provides high-quality health care at low cost, and offers a complete alternative medicine service to the community. The Academy, as part of its secondary objective, provides students with clinical training in traditional Chinese medical skills in its teaching clinic. The clinic exists for three purposes: First to provide the East Bay community with high quality, low-cost access to traditional Chinese medical care; second, to train students of traditional Chinese medicine in necessary skills to practice; and third, to advance the field of traditional Chinese medicine in the United States through patient interaction.
