Riordan's Tavern, downtown LA's spot for stiff drinks & great steaks
  • St. Patrick's Day Celebration
  • East coast style tavern
  • 4-7pm daily $6 bar menu

With rich woods and authentic Los Angeles sports memorabilia, Riordan's Tavern in downtown Los Angeles is a tribute to the neighborhood bars that saturate the east coast. Owner Richard J. Riordan, Mayor of Los Angeles from 1993 through 2001, believes that restaurants and taverns are important to the fabric of a city. As a meeting place for business or a special occasion spot, the friendly staff hopes that Riordan's Tavern will become your Los Angeles favorite. The food is simple but chosen from the best sources available. The steaks, including prime New York steak, prime cowboy beef chop and filet mignon are hand cut and cooked to perfection. Their delectable salads are signature creations, the seafood, like the lobster tail and salmon, is fresh, and the cheesecake is notorious in Los Angeles. Visit Riordan's Tavern, where the drinks are stiff and the steaks are great.

Really Good but Expensive  3 Star Rating - Satisfactory

Im somewhat a cheap man. But I can be reasonable when it comes to food. 13 dollar hamburgers are unacceptable in my book. Mine was pretty damn good though. Good sweet pickles. Great atmosphere.

American Restaurant  4 Star Rating - Very good

I know this place has had some bad bumps when it comes to bad press but I know they have cleaned things up. The food and the service are definitely up to par. Who knows if the story was true.
