Had slow drip coming from my side of the water meter under the man hole cover out at my front sidewalk. Called Rescue Rooter. First thing that isn't good is they send an estimator out to 'estimate' your job, then he will send a actual plumber later. The leak was coming from the PVC pipe connector. The Rescue Rooter 'estimator' told me that they wouldn't be able to get their saws-all cutter in to that tight of a space to cut off the bad connector. He said they would have to jack-hammer out the sidewalk in order to have enough room to fix the leak, and then would have to replace the sidewalk. He estimated the job to be almost $1300.\nI called Classic plumbing, and they sent an actual plumber. He looked at my leak, got on his stomach, cut the connector off with his little string saw, replaced the connector, and the leak was fixed. This was all done for the price of a service call - $105.\nSo in other words Rescue Rooter is a HUGE rip-off joint that is trying to scam the most money out of people as possible. Definitely do not ever consider using Rescue Rooter. It could cost you 13 times as much as it should.Rooter. It could cost 13 times as mu

They fixed our garage disposal prior to move-in to our new home. They seemed to work fine and the price was reasonable. The prior owner was paying, but they got the job done nicely.

I couldn't reach my usual plumber in Oak Cliff, had company on the way so I came online and decided to call the Rescue Rooter folks based on their ad. My trouble was my master bathroom toliet had been clogged by a weekend guest.\r\nMy call was answered promptly and the receptionist very pleasant. She wasn't able to quote rates and said the serviceman would give us the price when he arrived. Perfect so far.\r\nThe price given was very nearly $200 to unclog the bathroom. Two or three years ago I'd had the same problem when a hand towel accidently went down the toliet and my usual plumber charged about $98 to clear the lines. The Rescue Rooter serviceman said to my housemate that his service included cleaning out all the sewer lines in the house and that everything ""would be running better than before"". We agreed to the price\r\nIt wasn't thirty minutes later when my housemate called me at work saying an additional charge of $68 would be needed as the shower in the master bath didn't start draining when everything else did. I asked for him to put the serviceman on the phone. He expained that ""stirring things up"" in the system undoubtably caused some solid materials to back up into the line serving the shower\r\nMy home is a brick ranch style but is pier and beam rather than having a concrete slab. I have lived in the house more than twenty years and I've become somewhat familiar with the pipes, wiring and the general construction of the house. When told the line serving the shower wouldn't drain I let the serviceman know that ""little pipe"" was no longer than four or five feet from shower to where it joined the four inch cast iron main and that a $68 additional charge was outrageous on top of an already premium price.\r\nHe opened the drain with a plunger, and didn't collect more $$\r\nInsult to injury was Rescue Rooter giving a 90 day guarantee on the main sewer line to the street. A line that was never clogged in the first place! Be safe call your usual plumber!\r\n\r\n

I just wrote a review for them under their other name ARS Service Express...please read it. Quality service, clean, efficient at a fair price. \r\nWe had experienced the ""pager in the toilet routine""! Great job!
