The food, the ambience and the service all combine here to make one's eating experience a meal to remember. Every dish is worth savoring, starting with the brushetta with ricotta, honey and lemon (addictive) through the wide array of homemade pastas to the panna cotta. Even on Smith St., it's a stand-out.

I've been here three times and can't wait to go again. It's magic what they do with their vegetables. Especially recommended are the roasted Brussels sprouts, fried artichokes and mashed pumpkin. The linguine with clams is exquisite, with just the right amount of olive oil and butter to spread the taste of the sea in your mouth but not too much to make it heavy in your belly. The macaroni and cheese, when in was on the menu, was cheese and gooey and great, but it's since been replaced by a fabulous mushroom gnocchi. The skirt steak is tender and juicy. The plates are small and you will actually be able to finish what they give you without feeling like a stuck pig. Share some gelati with your companion. Dark chocolate and mint are good choices. The olive oil is good, but not as good as some others you might have tried.
