Jeremy has come to my rescue serveral times. He is very dependable. He knows his stuff and he is very professional. Not to mention that you never have to leave home. I'm not in Austin any more but he sure did help me keep my car in great shape. I logged on to get his number to give to my friend back in Austin. She needed a mechanic and I told her I would get her in touch with "THE ATYPICAL MECHANIC" and she will not be dissapointed! Hey Jeremy let me know if you will move to Maryland!

I have called on Jeremy the Mobile Mechanic several times to help me out and he has been courteous, helpful, trustworthy, and knowledgeable. I would continue to use him over and over again and would refer anyone to call him and have him help you out. You will not be disappointed. Thanks Jeremy for taking care of me and my Ford Escape!!!!

HE IS AWESOME!! I don't know anyone in Austin and I was stranded at home unable to get to work. Jeremy drove here and fixed my car. He wasn't able to get the part till late, so instead of leaving me without a car another day, he drove out at 9:00 PM to finish fixing my car. I couldn't believe he only charged me for ONE hour after he made two trips out to my house, and each requiring an hour. Not to mention he drove to pick the part up as well. THANKS JEREMY!!

Reliable Auto Repairs and Maintenance at Great Rates

Over the past 3 years Jeremy has started vehicles that would not turnover and done regular oil maintenance on all of my cars. I am about to call him to replace rotors and brake pads on my '03 Cadillac. Using Jeremy is a no-brainer. The Atypical mechanic is economical without being cheap, he's courteous, his work is thorough, and best of all he travels to your location !!!!
Pros: When I get the bill it's less than I expect
Cons: He won't address me by first name (only sir or Mr.)

My car was not starting so I called Jeremy and he came by the next day and installed the starter. What I didn't expect was for him to also check any other problems which he diagnosed before he left. He got my car running again finally after almost a week. I will spread the word to anyone who needs help like I did. Thanks again.

Jeremy came to my house, allowing me to work from home while I got my car serviced instead of wasting hours at the dealership. He performed an entire recommended maintenance service as recommended by Ford for about half of what some dealerships in town wanted to charge. His rates were fair and he was very upfront about everything. He brought the parts and even warrantees them for 3 months.
No run around. No worries. Just great service. I'll call him again and again. . . and tell everyone I can to use him.

The thing that impressed me about Jeremy is his ability to make you feel like he's going to take care of you and feel confident that you're not going to get ripped off. He's the real deal. In my opinion he is one of the good guys and he'll do what he can to fix whatever problem you have or he will give you solutions. He has serviced our vehicles for the past year, he is the one we call before anyone else and he comes to you which is awesome. This is a fact, being a woman you encounter many mechanics who take advantage of you and will charge you outrageous amounts for things you don't need. I never felt that way with Jeremy and there hasn't been anything yet that he hasn't been able to do....he's a keeper!

I called Jeremy on a Monday night and he got to me first thing Tuesday morning. I had noticed that my car was making a weird noise and I took it to a mechanic at a famous chain store here in town, and they wanted to charge me $250 and that was without labor! I found Jeremy through craigslist and when we spoke on the phone, he gave me a reasonable quote for his labor, without diagnosing the problem over the phone. He got to my house and was very professional. I was actually sorta surprised to see him in a uniform and with a work van. He was super nice, looked at the car and sat to work. It took him about an hour and a half to work on the car and I couldn't have been more satisfied, as the total price was much cheaper than what the original guy said. I would certainly recommend him to anyone. You can't beat an honest mechanic that will come to your home!

Cons: A few minutes late...but it's Austin traffic!
