Saint Norbert College

My husband and I have both attended mass here and enjoy the "high mass" feel very much. However, we have not brought our small children because it is not really set up to make families feel welcome. It has a very holy and wonderful "feel", but that comes at a price. The cathedral ceilings truly draw your eyes up when praying and the priests are wonderfully reverent, solemn, and sincere during mass. I would recommend this for individuals or for those without small children, otherwise you'll be tempted to head for the door at any whine, cry, or fussing that might begin.

PROS: Beautiful church and reverent services.
CONS: Not for kids.

The church on the St. Norbert College Campus is Olde St. Joseph. It is a very old stone structure, however the inside has been recently remodeled with hardwood floors and has a very friendly atmosphere. The inside is layed out in such a way as to give all the people a clear view of the priest and what is going on at the mass.

Old Saint Joe's Church on the Saint Norbert College Campus is a beautiful church. The arrangement of the pews and alters and such makes it feel more like a group rather than a mass. There is also so much singing and life that it makes mass more enjoyable. In addition to all that, the priests do a very good job of keeping you focused and entertained while praying. The fact that it is located on campus is very nice for college students who attend mass too.
