My cousins were in town, so I figured we'd do all the touristy things I never do here. This was fun. A little expensive, but I would def recommend it as part of a tourist afternoon.

I go here every few years. A perfect place to hybernate in the rain. You get to see wax figures of numerous celebrities in a party room at cocktail hour. I saw Julia Roberts, Barack Pbama, Brad Pott, Angelina Jolie, Susan Surrandon, Jodie Foster, Michelle Pfeiffer I think, Elle McPhearson, Paris Hilton, (eventhough I met that snob for real) Jessica Simpson, Lindsay Lohan, The Olsen Twins, Britney Spears, Hannah Montana, NSYNC, Backstreet Boys, Spice Girls, J.Lo, Jonas Brothers, Bon Jovi, Gloria Estefan, Jackie Kennedy's ghost, Hillary and Bill Clinton, Lincoln, Washington, Rosa Parks, Hellen Keller, Leonardo DiCaprio, Kate Winslet, The channel 4 news/weather people, and even Ivanka Trump..................

Pros: A lively place, pictures allowed you even get to see madame

Cons: Prices are skyhigh and getting raised by the year

I wasn't excited about this but my my friend had gone and said she wanted to see it again. We coincedentally got coupons for $6.00 off but when we get there the price is 35, then minus the 6 plus tax left us paying 31.95. We weren't asked if we wanted to see some 4d show so we ended up going to it which was a 15 minute movie about ocean life and a whale.....what???? Not to mention our entrance tickets said museum of sex...weird but that maybe would have made it better.

What a blast. We did have a few drinks before going in but it turned into a great night. We took a ton of pictures and joked and laughed about them for a week. A bit pricy through the door but the value really is in the art work. True likenesses, varied genre, family friendly, modern celebrities, even met President Obama. The place goes on for miles even saw a movie at the end. No hidden costs and lots of fun.

I visited this museum with my best friend on my birthday last summer. We took hundreds of pictures with celebrities like Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, Donald Trump, Christina Aguilera, Marilyn Monroe, Johnny Depp etc. My favorite figure is Julia Roberts. The wax figures look so real and sometimes I wonder if they are real people. We had a great time here and will definitely come back again. It was a lovely birthday present from my best friend.

I went here on a date and we had a wonderful time. It's a great place to go with a signifcant other to take pictures, talk and laugh. My favorite part was the 3d movie theatre. I love the movie and all the special effects. If you have kids this would be an awesome place even as a family event.

I didn't expect it to be so much fun, the idea of a wax musuem?? My friends talked me into it and we had a blast. The price was to be expected, it is Times Square and you can't even split a burger at the TGIFridays for that in Times Square, so all in all worth it. There are coupons out there. We took tons of pictures, everything looked really lifelike and it was cool to stand next all the figures at their actual size. The Cinema 4/d was really cool, I wasn't sure what to expect (1st timer) but they were showing a shorter version of Polar Express in 3D but the seats moved with the movie, snow and wind blew, the scent of hot chocolate...its was definately worth doing!

Pros: Great fun and pictures all around, the glass elevators were really cool - great Times Sq view

Cons: Line for the bathroom

What a fun time my family had here. The exhibits looked so real and they had familiar faces for kids & adults to enjoy. It's located in the heart of Times Square so it made it easy for us to see other things on our schedule. There was a savings coupon on these pages as well which made it even better. Highly Recommended!

Pros: Family Fun!

We had so much fun. The figures are amazing and so lifelike. We ended the entire tour with karaoke. With 23 high schoolers and 3 chaparones, it couldn't have been more fun!

This attraction is very cool. It's like your having a crazy dream because the figures are so life-like. I thought a staff member was wax! A little pricey but it's unique enough to check out and close to the Broadway shows.

Pros: Surreal, Discounts, Realistic Figures

Cons: Food Choices

.

We went on a weekend and it was $29 a person. If you want walk in the lobby you can take your picture with Beyonce or Donald Trump and walk back out. The statues in the London version are much more interesting and varied. If you don't like current NY pop stars this version is pretty boring and overpriced. Even though Times Square was packed this museum was deserted.

So, you have family in town and decide to be a tourist for a day... go here! Bring a camera, and get ready for your 15 minutes of fame. I could not believe how cool it is inside. I actually was able to race against Lance Armstrong. Although I did not beat him, I could not believe all the stuff my family and I could do. My sister sang for American Idol, my brother mixed an Usher track and my dad couldn't stop making Jennifer Lopez blush. In New York thiers tons of things to do, but this place is one that I would reccomend time and time again.

Pros: Hours of opperation, life like wax figures, Nice people

Cons: cameras are expensive

You think it's cool and worth the 25.00 - 30.00 per person until you head down the stairs thinking that there is more, but there's not. Wish I could turn back time. If you do decide to go, bring your own camera with a flash.

The idea is a neat one - wax celebrities - but after spending just shy of $100 for four of us to walk in we left extremely dissappointed at the number of statues. We had more fun for $100 at ESPN Sportzone.

If you're from NY and someone's coming to visit, you've got to take them here. My husband and I went here just the other day and we had so much fun! Posing with the figures and taking pictures was the best part. They could've made Martin and Oprah looked a little better but for the most part, everybody looks good!

It costs $22 which I thought was a bit much for not too much. It was pretty cool, but just didn't seem like a lot to me. They also didn't have a whole lot of celebrities I would have liked to see. On the plus side they do allow you to take pictures, though there were none I wanted to take.

I went to Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum after visiting it's sister in Amsterdam this spring. What I had seen in Amsterdam was, in one word, incredible. Of course, I expected the same from New York.
Although there's a hefty price and a few very nice exhibits inside, there's just not much in Madame Tussaud's to make it a truly worthwhile experience.
I would recommed it to a friend who had a few extra hours in the city to spend, but not on any other occasion.

I was there with my wife and 4 months old son. Initially I thought it would be too noisy for my son but the way he started enjoying the party of all famous people in those 3 floors, it was great time. Go there with lots of camera films. Spare enough time on each floor. It was fantastic trip. At the end of the trip, they show us the film which was OK.
Good work and good place to be there.

I recently went to Madame Tussauds for the first time with a friend from out-of-town. She really wanted to visit some classic tourist attraction in Times Square, so I thought the wax museum fit the bill perfectly. I totally expected to find the experience painfully tacky, but I ended up having a lot of fun. I can't wait to get my pictures developed to see what I look like sitting next to Woody Allen. My one complaint was that for the $19.95 ticket price I would have expected more exhibits.
