Charlie and his team are always ready to go the extra mile for you and are always looking out for you. When trouble hits Charlie will be there for you, and you are not just a number in some call center. Thank you so much for all you do for my family, and for our community.

Thank You,
George West

This long review is actually for a series of problems.

I wouldn't wish this insurance office on anyone. A woman named Sylvia runs the office now and it is virtually impossible to get anyone else on the phone. I have dealt with her four times in the last three months and each time has been a nightmare.

1) I called to make a payment and ask a specific policy question. She seemed upset that I was taking up her time, refused to answer the question and acted like the type of customer service representative you would expect to find from a phone company or something off-shore. When I told her she seemed irritated and wasn't answering my question, she told me she "wasn't interested in trying to answer my question". I made the payment and asked to speak to the agent. He was not available.

2) One month later my bill is still a mystery and I call back with the same question. This time the phone is busy from 4:15 to 4:50. When I reach Sylvia she complains openly that I'm asking a in-depth question so close to closing. She finally gets over the clock and does give me an answer.

HOWEVER, upon receiving my next bill, I find that the information was completely factually inaccurate.

3) My wife tried to rent a car. The rental company called to confirm insurance. For some reason there was some difference between "driver" and policy holder. This was never a problem before I switched to State Farm. I pay for both my wife and I to be equally insured, yet every time I try to prove insurance it's always "either or". Is it too much to ask to simply pay each month for my wife and I to be insured on both our vehicles and to able to prove that regardless of which one of us need to for whatever reason? Apparently so. Renting the car took 5 separate calls to the insurance office to get fixed. Our coverages never changed. Their system (or their understanding of their own system) is just that messed up. The coverages and policies I was paying for were adequate for what we wanted to do but it still took an hour and 5 phone calls!

4) Prior to my experience with Sylvia (when I liked the office) I was told that my coverage would extend 14 days when purchasing a new car. I called the office from the dealership and Sylvia is demanding 2 months payment at that time. I tell her I will call her back, but when I do....it's busy for the last half hour of the day. After closing I call the 1800 state farm number and find....of course...that I'm covered for 14 days as I expected and Sylvia was wrong again.

My bank attempted to get proof of my insurance and Sylvia called me again for payment. I asked to speak to the agent and guess what....he will not be in the office for 4 business days!

AGAIN, LIKE RENTING THE CAR....the item they faxed over to the bank has only one name on it despite my paying for both each month. So, now I'm on the phone for the 6th time today trying to get proof of insurance OF BOTH OF US sent somewhere.

This office has become a nightmare. I can't even imagine the horror of trying to process a claim. I never experienced anything like this before.

Do yourself a favor and get a different State Farm agent in a nearby town or neighborhood if you want this company.

Always takes the time to talk with you and actually listens to you! Charlie took the time to sit down with me and review all of my policies, and then understand my specific situation before he offered a solution. The solution was customized specifically to my situation, and it meant a lot to me that he wanted to do what was right for me.
