.

I went there for a very grueling 15 month course, grueling since I was working full time during the day and attending night classes at Chubb during the week and on many Saturdays. I had no time for a social life. I either went straight to class from work, or if not a school night, went straight home to code all night (and weekends) then return to work the next morning when the entire process would begin again.
I found the instructors to be very knowledgeable, with the exception of one. Breaking my butt this way earned me a 3.8 GPA, but the so-called placement service never arranged one interview for me. The most help the school ever provided me was a printed list of possible employers in the area, which I could have garnered anywhere myself, and instructions to go knock on doors. This, I do not believe, qualifies as "placement service" by any stretch of the imagination. When I did go out prospecting on my own, I was consistently being told that I had a stellar resume, but needed a degree. I was promised by many that a degree would not be a necessity if one was good, which I was. This was some 14 years ago. I am now retired, but without ever having the opportunity of living my dream which I trained so hard for. Not to mention the financial investment as well.
