First, let me start by saying I'm that girl who brings their car to the shop at 4:00pm on Friday afternoon. After being turned away by a couple of places that said they couldn't deal with the car until Monday, I was desperate for someone to at least look at the vehicle.
After explaning the symptoms (metal scraping metal by front left tire), the mechanic listening (Andrew) made a similar prognosis to previous shops. He then TOOK THE TIME to ask a couple more questions and realized that the problem might not be so complicated. He said they would check it out and to give him a couple of minutes. Finally, some willing to help!After a short while, he came back and said that it was potentially a major brake job and i would need to leave the car there or bring it back on Monday to get fixed. Damn, well at least I had a prognosis now.
I asked for a minute to decide if I should get a rental car (which they explained that they could arrange at a discounted price) or drive my car all weekend and risk making it worse.I told the shop that I would leave the car and get a rental, when Andrew comes back in and says they've made some adjustments and they're giving the car a test drive to make sure they resolved the issue! 30-45 minutes after arriving at the shop and my car is fixed!!!
It doesn't stop there... I told them I would be back on Monday (there's a couple of belts that I know need replacing) and they told me where to find coupons online so I could save some cash when I got back.
This shop is Quality. They care about the people that come in, they care about fixing cars, and as a result they are a success.
