Natural Body Spa

The Cumberland Natural Body is a bigger location than the Vinings location. It's very nice and has areas for relaxation and even a yoga studio. This is a good solid spa experience for new and old spa goers. They have good product lines and good therapists so that you can go and spend a couple of hours or the whole afternoon.

I decided to treat myself to a facial and was familiar with Natural Body Spa but had never used them. I was greeted warmly and taken to a relaxing waiting area. The whole place was peaceful and made me relax just sitting there. My massage was very relaxing and my attendant was friendly. She gave me a list of the products she used but didn't try to sell me anything. I enjoyed my experience there.

After three years of seeing the same massage therapist every two week's it was difficult to choose a new therapist. Since my therapist move to St. Croix, I had not a massage for over a year! For Valentines Day last year my husband gave me a gift certificate for the Natural Body Spa. I chose to go the location at Ivy Walk in Smyrna. I had been to the locations at The Highlands and the Vinings location./ I was extremely satisfied with the massage and the therapist at the Highlands as well as the first pedicure I received at the Vinings location. However my second experience was not that satisfying, the pedicure was good, but my second visit, I was not that therapist's type of client. I do mean client, nothing more. I know this being seeing how she interacted with another first time client. So when I received the gift certificate I decided to try the Ivy Walk location. Luckily as with my previous therapist, I happened upon another excellent therapist Jennifer!!. I got the 60 minute massage, it was awesome. The atmosphere was great, the music was not too loud and Jennifer was really interested in making sure I was comfortable. Her technique is different than my previous therapist, a tad firmer. I am more relaxed with her, my last visit I just took a deep breath and inhaled the aromatherapy oils and I heard the stress across the back of shoulders release. It sounds like little pops. I highly recommend Jennifer. Hope to be back on my every two week routine soon! Unfortunately, I cannot give that same high recommendation to the other staff. Not only do I go to Natural Body Spa Ivy Walk for massages I also go there to purchase Bumble and Bumble hair products. I go to this location a least once every six weeks and have been for the last eight months, prior to getting massages. I have seen the same people there and they still cannot remember my name. I have engaging to the staff and friendly. Yes, I understand that they see lots of people everyday, but when you are at the register talking to your colleagues and not being mindful of your clients, I would assume that you would not remember a client's name.
