From its inception, the mission of LUIS DE JESUS SEMINAL PROJECTS has been inspired by a clear and simple idea: that the genuine desire and purpose of any serious artist is to break new ground with his or her work. I believe this is as true today as it was 100 years ago when artists helped to radically alter the socio/political and cultural landscape by breaking free of institutional doctrines that dictated what—and how—they should create. Seminal Projects is committed to working with international artists of all media who are engaged with fresh and intelligent thought-provoking ideas, who are fearless in their beliefs and execution, and who are taking risks.
