We had the pleasure of using Cannoli Kings for our wedding in March. Chef Michael Parise was actually in town and came to our wedding! The food was superb and the service was executed perfectly. We are foodies. We love delicious food from everywhere. We rarely "fine dine", but do go out to eat the best of foods. I've lived in LA all my life and have eaten at all the best restaurants. We found Cannoli Kings through Citysearch. We were enthralled with the variety of foods displayed on his fun website. We met Chef Michael Parise after interviewing with several other caterers and knew on the spot he was the one to cater our commitment ceremony. My partner always sleeps on issues before deciding, but this time he was immediately sure. Michael cares very much about what he does. He has an amazing range of knowledge about food, what the trends are, so much about different kinds of food, and conveyed to us that we'd be in great hands. He's helped us with many of our needs, linens, tables, chairs, lighting rentals, layout, parking, etc. We just had a tasting evening and he absolutely knocked our socks off. The food was incredible, paired with perfect wines, professional service. The apple bacon-wrapped scallops, crab cakes, stuffed mushrooms (the best I've ever tasted). The shrimp scampi pasta and Pinot Grigio were unbelievable. The Caribbean-flavored salmon simply melts. The veal rollatini paired with a Chianti of his choice made for an outstanding entree. You will also get the best cannolis on the face of the planet. They are crisp, rich, smooth, a piece of heaven, and never lumpy. The staff we met are superb, and we know we're in the best of hands. I can't tell you how stress-relieving it is to work with Michael. He loves what he does and it's going to be a great, enjoyable evening filled with exceptional food, drink, service and comfort.

Recently tried their Baked Mac and Brie with Gruyere at a catered lunch we had a work - this stuff was awesome - also had the Farfalle ala checca with tomatoes and fresh basil - basically I had a carb lunch - what could be better right? To finish it off of course I had a canoli which was pretty damn good....

Recently went to an event catered by cannoli kings and had their Classic Amaretto Cannoli which was pretty darn incredible. they said they do like 300+ types of cannolis but i'm sort of a purest in these matters and opted for the classic dipped in chocolate. yum. the rest of the catered food was also top notch including a pesto-crust lamb chop and a very very evil (yet very very yummy) baked mac and cheese that had figs in it.

The Cannoli Kinds recently catered a birthday lunch I attended in LA. I really the enjoyed the food and thought the owner was very professional and personable. My favorite dish was the chickpea salad, but all salads were great. I didn't eat much pasta, but everyone else was pleased with those dishes as well. Afterwards there was an assortment of desserts which were delicious. Of course my favorite was the cannoli :) I would defintiely recommend them if you are in need of a caterer.

I met with Chef Michael and got to sample many of his dishes at a corporate function I arranged (and they catered). WOW! YUMMY! And I really liked the professionalism of the whole set-up... from the display of the food to the server to the Chef's assistant. Each part was exceptional, in my humble opinion. Cannoli Kings certainly seemed to go way above and beyond any of our expectation. So much so that I've hired them to cater my very own baby shower! Now the Chef and I are developing a menu especially for the occasion... full of finger foods for the little ones and unique takes on traditional comfort foods. Chef Michael even offered a perfect solution for my problem with location for the gathering! I HIGHLY recommend Cannoli Kings Catering and Chef Michael!

The Cannoli Kings recently catered an office event I attended in LA. They were very professional and the food was great! I particularly enjoyed the Mediterranean chickpea salad with fresh heirloom tomatoes. It was wonderful! My favorite by far! Many people really raved over the macaroni and cheese, which I thought was good, too. The pasta dishes were all nice. The cannolis were good as well. I think they can make all sorts of different versions, but the basic Amaretto did it for me. Yummers!

Both the food and the service were amazing. Chef Michael arrived with a beautiful and delicious assortment of lamb, pastas, salads and desserts. My favorites are the Fig, Swiss and Brie Macaroni n Cheese topped with spiced breads crumbs and the Herb Lambchops. I couldnt stop eating the cannolis, crispy on the outside with a smooth filling on the inside. It was a delicious meal and the waiter who accompanies Chef Michael provided great service.

I can't express enough how incredible the food was last week. Putting aside that this was a total new mix of offerings - the food itself, just about everything I ate, was spectacular. I thought in my head that I could not ask for better taste at a high class wedding! The pork was phenomenal, baby lamb chops -the best ever, the lump crab meat - no one could get over, shrimp wrapped in prosucitto with goat cheese - outrageous, fried Manchango Cheese - I didn't think I would love that, but WOW! I heard beef tips were amazing, unfortunately I did not try it (probably because I could not stop eating all the things that I loved!).

In addition to how blown away I was by the culinary genius, Chef Victor Parise you should know that others are still talking about it as well!

Amazing, amazing, amazing. I am definitely going to pick these things for other events we do with you!! Thanks!

Hot, fresh and creative...Cannoli Kings is by far the best catering company we have ever had come to our law firm.They visit us twice a week and the food is always a culinary experience . My fiance and I just attended a red carpet event that Cannoli Kings Catering sponsored for Lavish Lifestyles, at the Jim Henson Studios in Hollywood, November 6th, the food was spectacular! First, the servers were incredible, they really covered the party -500 people were in attendance and i believe everyone ate the scrumptious appetizers prepared by Celebrity Chef Michael Parise, who was in attendance as well. First appetizer to be passed was the Bruchetta with goat cheese and Kalamata olives served on these wonderful garlic rustic toasts, pure heaven-second appetizer was mini Portobello Mushrooms stuffed with fresh Italian sausage, The third appetizer was Panchetta wrapped prawns with a Garlic Aioli, at that point I was sold. We had the pleasure of meeting Chef Parise as he was walking down the red carpet and we spoke for awhile. To cut to the chase Cannoli Kings WILL be catering our wedding in June of 08. and we are very excited. All in all Cannoli Kings is pure class and I highly recommend them for any event.

I found Cannoli Kings on Citysearch. When I first spoke with Michael, I told him I was from Brooklyn and wanted something authentic and charming for our labor day wedding party. Well, Cannoli Kings made our backyard into a scene from an Italian Restaurant. Michael not only catered the event with wonderful food (appetizers, dinner and dessert), but also provided the entire set up, top notch staff and clean up- all within our budget. Michael's stress free services allowed me and my husband to relax and enjoy the party for once!

We hired Cannoli Kings Catering to cater a recent event. To say we were satisfied is an understatement. Chef Michael Parise worked with us constantly. He presented us with a fantastic menu that we still receive compliments on. His staff was terrific, well dressed, friendly and second to none in professionalism. Cannoli Kings Catering is one of the best catering companies in Los Angeles. From our engagement party with eclectic appetizers and desserts to my bridal showers full of petit fours and cream puffs to our wedding with the perfect Italian menu and then to all four of our anniversary dinners -- Cannoli Kings Catering is wonderful. They are a "no party too small or large kind of caterer". They were able to not only please Ken and myself, but our families from all over the country. And their hand made specialty cannolis were to die for! They were the PERFECT wedding night treat! Hopefully Cannoli Kings will be catering all of our big life events! I called on a Saturday and begged for help with a dinner party for 40 that Thursday in my home. I was overwhelmed at work, sick kids, etc. and asked Cannoli Kings to take care of everything. I had used them before to cater a cocktail party and we also have platters delivered on a regular basis,so I knew the food was spectacular, but I had never used the "full" service with dish/glass rentals and servers. I can't rave enough about the job they did: they expertly guided me through menu choices, the rentals were delivered on time and in spotless condition, the servers showed up right on time and were so professional and efficient that I did absolutely nothing but enjoy my guests. Every need was attended to and drinks were refilled almost before you realized they were close to empty. Almost every guest remarked upon the level of service and the quality and presentation of the food. When the party was over my house was spotless and everything had been packed up and away. My husband and I literally said goodnight to the last guests, turned off the lights and went to bed. For tremendous service, quality and value, I highly recommend Cannoli Kings

The reviews on CitySearch were impressive.

After forgetting the pre-event meeting at our home, Michael was apologetic and friendly. We agreed on a menu with Michael recommending his Famous Bruchetta served with Parmesan rustic toasts. The Viennese pastry desserts didn't look like there was enough chocolate so Michael said he could include a chocolate raspberry dessert. We thought that would be perfect.

We had an afternoon buffet lunch at our house after an event at a different location. We were not going to be at home when the food arrived so we put all of our faith in Michael to come through as promised.

Halfway through the event, I realized that there was a bowl of chopped tomatoes that was supposed to be the bruschetta. There was a plate of crackers, no parmesan rustic toast. I then realized that the crackers must have been meant for the cheese platter, because there was nothing near the cheese platter on which to eat the cheese. Also, there were NO chocolate raspberry desserts.

I expected Michael to call on Monday to see how the event went (he was not there but his server was). No call on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday. My husband finally called Michael late on Wednesday afternoon. Michael said he had made a decision not to include the parmesan rustic toasts which were specified in our contract. I assume I paid for them as stated in our contract. He apologized for forgetting the chocolate raspberry desserts and offered to drop off a dozen at our office the next day. They never arrived.

As for the rest of the food, the Meatballs bourguignon were extremely salty and inedible, the Salmon skewers- marinated in fresh herbs were tastless and dry, the chicken picatta was good and the baked penne with 4 cheeses was very tasty.

No accommodation was attempted other than the desserts that were promised but never appeared. All in all, the whole experience (except for the server Christine, who was wonderful) was mediocre, at best.

It was a last minute decision to have our party catered. My cousin, who was supposed to do all the cooking couldn't make it to Los Angeles.I searched online and found Cannoli Kings on Citysearch. I was fortunate to get the owner right away. Michael came up with a great menu for our budget. They arrived on time and their staff was very professional and the food... oh my God! everything tasted sooooo GOOD!

Cannoli Kings just catered a corporate party we had in Downtown LA. Chef Michael really made sure everything went well. He personally came to the location and he expedited it smoothly. The food was incredible and we were all very happy. We will be using them again for our catering needs. I am getting married July of 08. and I know who I will be calling.

Michael was an hour late to our scheduled lunch. We planned a surprise party for one of our doctors, and none of this went to plan. He failed to call to tell us he was late. When he delivered the food - he did not have a dolly so he asked to borrow ours, which was surprising because we never had this problem with other caterers. We were planning a surprise birthday party which included 25 people. There wasn't enough food and he brought two cakes - one which was store-bought and dry. I am extremely disappointed because I expected great results.

I have had the pleasure of having Cannoli Kings come to our house and cater a party in honor of my fathers 90th birthday. Chef Michael was very accommodating and worked well within our budget. He came to our house 3 times and worked out all the details, custom created our menu and was very hands on. His staff was very professional and at the end of the night the house was left spotless. As far as food goes...I don't think I have ever been to a catered affair with so much creativity, our guests were raving, I will be calling them again soon. Thank you Michael

While planning our wedding feast ( to be held in the backyard of a family home by Malibu creek), we had a horrendous experience with the catering representative at Marias Italian Kitchen (flaky and rude) that ultimately resulted in a cancellation with this company only 4 weeks prior to the event.

Fate was smiling on us, however. After interviewing numerous other caterers, we confidently selected Michael Parise (the Canoli King) to care for our most precious wedding dinner. Our demands were high: a 6-course, plated, sit-down, outdoor dinner--within our budget.

Michael and his staff surpassed our expectations in every way. The 6-course meal was delectable, yet unpretentious. The service and pacing were perfect (believe it or not, this is quite a feat when it comes to catering businesses in L.A.: to save on staffing costs, most caterers pace courses at a break-neck speed that necessitates shoving food down your throat and clearing plates before guests are finished. For us, slow-paced dining was paramount to the enjoyment of the evening.)

Guests absolutely RAVED about the food; his attention to detail and service made the evening go off without one single hitch.

We truly felt that Michael cared about the night as much as us--not just about settling the bill.

I can say, without reservation, that Michael's catering made our wedding reception a success.

Cannoli Kings catered a corporate event for my company, and they were terrific! Not only was the food OUTSTANDING (I highly recommend the cheesecakes and the pulled pork bbq), but Chef Michael was SO easy to deal with. In fact, I had never planned an event like ours before, so he basically took over a lot of the details that I wasn't sure how to handle. I would HIGHLY recommend Cannoli Kings, knowing that Chef Michael and his staff will put 110% into making any event truly special AND affordable.

I found Cannoli Kings Catering searching City Search one day and I called Chef Michael for a quote, he really laid it out for me, no hidden fees or charges of any sort, he was extremely knowledgeable and his passion for food definitely shines through. This year we dicided to have a BBQ in Marina Delray. We searched for a BBQ caterer in LA and came across Cannoli Kings , my wife says, call them lets see what they offer. I was a bit skeptical. Cannoli's at a BBQ!?. We called Cannoli Kings and got Chef Michael Parise on the phone instantly. He was great to deal with ans well as very helpfull in meeting our budget. After checking out Cannoli Kings website and speaking to Michael once more we decided to use them and man were they GREAT! He shows up with this huge grill and his staff and they set everything up and he goes at it. His Brisket was the best i had ever had, moist, tasty, and sooooo tender. Chicken was done perfectly and he is very charasmatic as he is grilling. Highly highly recommended. His Cannolis are the best ever!!

I am a transplanted NY'er and I have to say, "when Cannoli Kings Catering caters your food you feel like your back in Brooklyn". Michael Parise is a very talented chef with great food know how, he is on time, the food is spectacular and his crew as he puts it is incredible, you would never know you had a party when they are through. I highly reccomend Cannoli Kings and I have decided to make them my only caterers.
