The Good Nite

I frequent this place on a monthly base and have always like it. It's a cool dive bar and great DJ. But, I made the horrific choice to host a party there and there was a promoter there that night as well and the crowd was horrible. Our guest and including myself were robbed! They stole my money and camera, a wallet stolen and worst of all several cars were broken into on the adjacent street. We complained to the owner but he was not interested in hearing anything. Too bad we actually liked this place but I and many people from that night will never step foot in that place again. I would tell anyone to beware of going there, it's not a safe place. They should never use that they promotion company they used ever again or else there will be more post like this on here.

Comfortable seating everywhere, and a very mellow, low light environment.

I took a date on a Tuesday night and was pleasantly surprised by the 2 for 1 drink special.

I only wish there were more people there but it was a Tuesday night after all.

Pros: Went on a Tues night and they had 2 for 1 drinks.

Cons: There weren't too many people there.

This hidden gem in NoHo is so Hot. It has everything you would want in a bar and then some. private room, stripper pole, TVs and great drinks.

This bar is a h!t or miss (since when is h!t a bad word?). Anyways, I wanted to do something low key for New Year's Eve, so we decided to give this place a try. While it's not exactly right next to the Police Station .. it's about 2 blocks down so be on the lookout for cops. It's also in the dodgey part of Noho, not the Arts District. It looks crappy from the outside, but the inside is cozy and has pretty cool decor. Plenty of seating on the couches & at the bar. Cool movies played in the background, drinks were strong & reasonably priced, DJ was spinning good music, nice diverse crowd of 20's-30's, just about everyone was dancing & a couple girls tried out the stripper pole. The bartender was super nice and did shots of whiskey w/ my buddy. Only disappointment - NO Fire Blowing Bartenders! You'd think out of all nights, they would be there on NYE!! Besides that and the hectic one stall bathroom, we actually had a Good Nite! However, we went back there this last past Friday for a girl's night out and it was totally lame! Once again - NO Fire Blowers!! The crowd got older, people dressed sloppy (not even casual cute), the one bathroom stall was gross, and the DJ sucked. He took about 45 min to set up (not sure why), then finally began playing music around 11pm. Too bad it was cr@p! We thought he was just getting warmed up so stuck around but it didn't get any better. He's got serato, not crates of records, he should try using it. My iPod could have done a better job! On the way out, some biker dudes on Harleys pulled up. Now I love bikes, sportsbikes and cruisers alike, but when 50+ yr old wannabe HA's (or reals ones) show up . ..it's time to go.

This place is really nice the bartender makes great drinks. I had a great time! Another cool place is this brand new reggae/dub lounge on Tuesdays! The venue is perfect, not too big and not too small. Its called The Hollywood Canteen. Great outdoor setting plus indoor bar and restaurant. The music is amazing! They always have live bands + djs spinning the best reggae music in town! The crowd is very nice and relaxed and the drinks are amazing. Only $5 for 21+ and $15 for 18+. If you go tell the nice people at the door you heard of it from sean. They are really cool unlike some other hollywood bouncers and such.

I was looking for a place to celebrate my bday, and I came across the good nite here on the site I read all the reviews and was a little skeptical, sounded too good to be true. But for serious this place was by far the highlight of the night. Everyone had the awesomest time. The DJ was rad, every request we had he played. I didn?t get a chance to go up to the bar because I was too busy dancing. The people in general were the nicest, I'm not just talking about the people that work there, I am talking about the people who were there to hang out. We made so many friends that night and danced with so many people. It was the best time I could ever have imagined. All the other reviews are dead on. O, and Daniel was super sweet.

This place is pretty kickass, I was there on a Wed. night and
the bartender/D.J.. was playing some good mixtures of new wave, punk and 80's.

I CALLED AND MADE RESERVATIONS TO CELEBRATE MY BIRTHDAY HERE I WAS A BIT NERVOUS SINCE I HAD NEVER BEEN TO THE GOOD NITE BAR BUT IT WAS BY FAR THE BEST DECISION I COULD'VE EVER MADE. THE ATMOSPHERE WAS REALLY KICK BACK AND COOL. MY GUESTS AND I WERE TREATED LIKE VIP ALL THE WAY. THE BARTENDERS, DJ AND EVEN THE SECURITY WENT OUT OF THEIR WAY TO MAKE SURE THAT WE WERE TAKEN CARE OF. DRINKS WERE SOOO AFFORDABLE AND YOU DIDN'T HAVE TO WAIT AT ALL. THE MUSIC WAS GREAT I CAN NOT STRESS ENOUGH WHAT A GREAT BAR THIS IS, MY GUESTS KEPT CALLIN ME TO LET ME KNOW WHAT A GREAT TIME THEY HAD. Great staff - friendly and very easy on the eyes. This is the kind of warm neighborhood bar that I was missing from my days in New Orleans. Give it a few tries and you'll definitely find something about it that you'll like - it's a little different every night. The drinks are great and fairly affordable. The decor and atmosphere are a perfect mix of mild sleaze (stripper pole) with hints of sophistication (gorgeous bar and comfy leather sofa-style seating). Ironically located next to an AA meeting place, making the experience feel naughty - in a good way. The place makes me tingly : )

I ran into this place while visiting a friend in the area and I was extremely impressed. The staff is awesome, the prices are right, the decor is money, and the drinks are poured stiff. I especially liked the fools behind the bar blowing fire.

This is a cool, new little place! I've only been there a few times but the Bartenders are nice and even the doorguy is nice. The crowd was young but not too young. It's got a nice ambiance and decor. The drinks aren't too pricey but admittedly i haven't ever seen it crowded in there. Maybe it's not so great location in the middle of nowhere on Burbank blvd? Maybe it's the cops driving by every 5 minutes? I don't know.
I'll check it out again maybe on a friday or saturday when it might be more full.

Pros: Nice crowd and atmosphere without be too prententious

I am so happy there is now such a great bar in North Hollywood! First off, I liked the decor with the blue lighting and metallic modern bar. There is a comfy lounge area in the corner and lots of seating which is great. Even when it was crowded I got a seat.
The music was nice 'cause there was a little bit of everything. The D.J. did a good job. It's funny that they have a stripper pole. Some people got drunk and were spinning on it!
The drinks were strong and good. The bartenders were friendly. Basically, next weekend I'll go there instead of Hollywood and save myself the hassle.

This place has the best drinks served by good-looking bartenders. The ambiance is spectacular and it's just the right size to meet people but not too small to feel crowded. Fire-breathers, DJ's, and the stripper pole make it that much better.

Cool vibe, eclectic mix of people. Got crowded late but it was worth the wait! Good looking bartenders (more female than male...the way i like it!). Checkout the private room and feel the walls...trust me, it'll trip you out!

Went to The Good Nite with some friends a few weekends ago and I was impressed. Don't let the exterior fool you, this is one cool bar inside. The vibe is chill and the people friendly. Great place to hang with friends or to meet new people. Love the stripper pole. Oh and the drinks are cheap and strong!

This is a great tiny lounge/bar that is hidden in North Hollywood. I must say, I've been there a bunch of times now and there is nothing more important to me than going to a place with great ambiance. As soon as you walk in and see different indy films playing on the walls and then turn and see a large mirrored bar with every type of premium alchohol you can imagine, i felt like this was the place for me. There is a DJ (yes a live DJ) playing anything from hip hop to House music. If i haven't said enough they through in something a little different for the LA night bar/lounge scene, FIREBREATHERS. Yes every so often 2 of the bar tenders decide to dim the lights down and breath fire. This is something that you usually see only in Hawaii. Either way, go ahead and check this place out, I promise you won't be disappointed.

Damn, this place is awesome. The exterior seems low key, but inside is very high end, without the high end drink prices. I've had a great time every time I've visited. The bartenders are way cool and so are the patrons. Great place for a night out.

Had a fantastic time. I felt like a high profile customer even though it was my first time there. I was treated like a regular, especially by Luc, who it is impossible in my opinion to not have a great time around. The atmosphere was very comfortable and put me at ease right away. It will definitely be on my must stop there list whenever I'm going to LA. Lots of fun. Oh Yeah, fire breathing bartenders, a definite highlight.

A great place for good drinks at very, very reasonable prices and awesome music. You can lounge around and enjoy the shows or grab a seat at the bar and chat with the hot female bartenders. A perfect place to go after work or on the weekends. And unlike other bars, there's always a drinks special that's perfect for your wallet and karaoke nights are unbelieveable. It's also great when random hot girls get up on the stripper pole which happens every night. Definitely check out the place. Go on weekdays for a more lounge and relaxed atmosphere but come back for weekends for a non-stop party!!!

I've been to the Good Nite bar a couple of times and each time I go I have an amazing time! The staff is great! They make sure EVERYONE is having a fun time. The ambiance has a downtown feel, the bar is dark with accented blue neon lights along the walls border. There is plenty of parking outside along Burbank Ave where the street at night looks a bit deserted. The crowd is as eclectic as the music! It ranges from Rock to Hip Hop to 80's!!! Karaoke nights are a blast, and EVERYONE takes advantage of the stripper pole! Dress is personal style, you don't have to dress up but you don't want to look sloppy! The bar tender does not skimp on the alcohol so make sure you have a ride home! And don't worry you will have enough money left over for a taxi since the drink prices are a deal!!

After a friend told me about The Good Nite, I went on a Friday night to check it out. Lucky for me, there was a bachelorette party and the place was rockin'. After a few redbull vodkas, I checked out the action on the stage. The ladies were showing off their moves on the stripper pole while the DJ was spinning a good mix of rock, hip hop, and other popular stuff. The crowd was definitely getting into it. The bachelorette party was getting frisky in the VIP booth with all sorts of interesting "toys", so I joined them for a round of shots. After that, the night got blurry, but let's just say I had an awesome time.

If I lived in NoHo I would make this my regular spot. This is the best neighborhood bar I've seen in some time... and I'm definitely no stranger to bars!

From the outside you would never be able to tell how beautiful this bar is inside. It appears to be your typical little dive bar and then you get inside and all prior expectations go out the door. The music is awesome (unlike many bars in the area), the bar is dimley and beautiful, bartenders spit/blow fire and are hot! there isn't a cover, the drinks are cheap, the selection is great (especially if you like whisky like me!), there is a stripper pole, the crowd is awesome and not pretentious....I feel like I could go on and on. This if for sure the best new bar in the area.

Pros: Pretty much everything.

Cons: Only 1 bathroom stall for ladies so hurry up and get the job done!

This place is awesome! You know, when you go in to a cocktail bar where it's too bright and dull lookin' place. Also the music isn't loud enough with all the crappy music. Well, this place is no dull lookin' and not too bright. And the music is loud and has a good range of genres that you won't be disappointed. It's a very artistic place and I can't get my eyes off the decor and everything. Awesomely cool. Well, lastly but not at least there's a stripper pole like no other bar has! The drinks are reasonably priced. Man, you gotta check the place out and make this place your new hang out bar.

Let me just say that it's about time North Hollywood/Studio City area got a bar...a GOOD bar! They've fixed this place up fierce--the ambiance is deep blue and cool. The crowd is genuine, unpretentious, and fun. I've been there on two different occasions, and both nights had great music. They pull in some good DJs to meet the needs of the eclectic crowd in this part of town....electronica, house, progressive one night and pulling out the old 80s hits (obscure and fun stuff like camouflage!) on another night. The drinks are great and even better are the bartenders who are H-O-T! I can't wait to go back!
