We brought our dog in for diagnostic tests for neurological symptoms. They kept him there all day, and called to say they didn't find anything concrete on the MRI or the Spinal Tap, and their suspicion was it was a degenerative disease that they would have results from a blood test in 3 weeks. When we picked out LARGE dog up, he could not walk. They gave us a sling and sent us on our way. When he still had not returned to normal the next day, we paged the Dr on Sunday night, He told us this was normal and to give it a couple days (first we heard of this). No one called to check in on our dog, and a week later, he had not returned to normal (improved but still wobbly and could not be let out of the house on his own anymore). We called. We were told there was a .1% chance this would happen--dog could be worse after anesthesia--, and they were sorry. Additionally, they never called us with the results, so when we called, they said it was negative and they didn't know what was wrong with our dog. So, about $5k later and with a dog 1 month later that is STILL not in the same condition he was in prior to their "diagnostic" tests (we still cannot let him our without being on a leash anymore), we have no idea what is wriong with our beloved pet. This is heartbreaking. I cannot recommend this practice.

Our dog has epilepsy and has been a patient of Dr. Tiches' for over three years. Dr. Tiches has been able to cut his seizures down to every six weeks as opposed to the daily seizures he was having before starting medication. Every time I call the office to report a seizure or request a medication refill, the staff is exceptionally nice and helpful. They all know our dog by his first. They love their patients and treat them like their own.

My french bulldog was misdiagnosed by my own vet with a sprained leg, when in fact he had a disc that was defective and my dog started going lame, Dr Bruce was excellent in how he explained the procedures the life expectancy etc. Although I was completely traumatized by the event, the staff and Dr Bruce were excellent and I will recommend all my friends to this facility. I am waiting to hear back now since my dog is in surgery, but I felt it necessary to let everyone know that you can not put a price on the love you have for your animal! I would pay anything to have my Louie back with me again safe and healthy. Pray for us.

My dog recently saw Dr. Bush and had an MRI the same day! They were able to answer all my questions in one place and the staff was so helpful, plus I got the doctor's cell phone.

I would recommend BVNS to anyone with a pet with a neurological problem.
