Stunners n Smashers Spalon (Spa & Salon)

Lady @ the bottom, when was the last time anyone was stunned a/o smashed in a good way? I think they did well per the title of the business:

They stunned you with an expensive & horrible cut and then smashed your feelings ;)

Awesome salon !!! Went there for the first time after reading the reviews. Great customer service, definitely 5 Stars !!! Got Haircut and color.. will be coming back soon. Also bought the amazing grand opening deal they have for their new location. 99 bucks for massage, facial and hair cut !!! Keep up the good work.

The other shop I went to before you was so terrible they made my hair orange and duck yellow and called it "Blonde" You created a wonderful color combination and I have gotten so many compliments! Reading below at the last posted comment, I just wanted to say that this a review site about services not a place to sympathize for a writer. I am not going to side anyone here except that I have had a great service of threading done by the owner. The place is booming busy. Unhappy customers happen to every business even though everything is remarkable likewise great services happen even if the place suckks for reputation. LETS JUST LEAVE IT AT THAT!!!!

I do give this place 5 star ( I was going to give it 4 stars before)because I feel some people are trying to be unfair and abusive to the site and the business.

just pointing out the obvious . . 1 bad review on 26th and BOOM 2 good reviews together on the 27th posted by 2 reviewers with only 1 reviews each . . on the salon. I sympathize the poor woman, i guess thats why i posted this.

This is a fantastic place. I highly recommend it. The staff is very knowledgeable and well trained. I've had several services there, and every time I've gone it's been fantastic. You HAVE to try their pedicures! You'll NEVER go anywhere else!

Now the posting belo looks baloney. Woman you said that you were depressed! this isnt a psychiatric help place!!!

I have been there so many times since they have opened. Its affordable, friendly and they do amazing hair. My whole family goes there now.

I went there for the first time about a week ago. I have never been treated so poorly in my life. I arrived at the salon a bit depressed, hoping to leave invigorated with a new hair style, and instead I left feeling worse than ever. Id recently taken out my hair extensions, and went in to receive a relaxer and a cut from a stylist I met in a coffee shop nearby. She was rude, snappy, and just flat out condescending throughout the entire treatment. She even suggested shaving my head. I wasn't sure exactly what I wanted, but I knew I didnt want to walk out of there looking like Grace Jones; so I suggested a few layers in the back, and to cut off all of the split ends after using the relaxer.

I ended up with a bowl cut and a bunch of fizzy, ironed over split ends. After seeing my silent reaction to the finished product, the stylist asked very rudely if I wanted to do my own hair. Trying to make the best of the situation, I asked for a bit of pomade to add some texture to the back and a comb to cover the hideous skull length part in the center of my head. She then began to chide me after I was finished for putting crap in my hair. I wondered why she would hand it to me if she knew it was greasy and would further exacerbate my hairstyle, but I didnt want to make the situation any worse so I just said Okay, dont worry about it and smiled at the other girls who looked dumbfounded. She then tossed the scarf I wore in at me, and said they would ring me up at the front.

When confronted with a higher price than I was originally quoted, I was a little hesitant to hand over more than $100 because the service I received was so unfriendly (to say the least), and the end product was terrible. The manager came up and after I told her why I was upset, she replied "Well... it's not whether or not you're happy with your style; you pay because we preformed the service." The stylist then came up with an extremely nasty attitude and even accused me of not having the money to pay the bill. By this time, I was completely speechless so I just handed over the cash and left the salon in tears.

With a name like "Stunners & Smashers" I was expecting a little more creativity and a lot less hostility. This "spalon" has no class, and obviously chose the wrong name for their demographic. My advice to everyone out there: PLEASE BEWARE OF THIS SALON, as long as it is under the same poor management, youll wind up paying for the product and not the service and even worse they just might humiliate you from start to finish.
