We call our food hearty American faire. Our menu includes steak, ribs, pork chops, fried asparagus and mixed veggies with a sprinkling of great Korean food for the more adventurous. Our dipping sauces are unique and paired with several of our dishes.

The newest Gastropub in Folsom,CA

by James L.

Great mood for the adult on a date. Hip decor and warm colors with attentive service. This place exceeded all expectations. The food is outstanding and the portions were more than enough to eat. As for the beer, Over 140 different beers. They don't have any Bud or Coors which I thought was great. This is not a college hangout with cheep beer and fried food. It is a nice place for adults to have fun with there wives and celebrate great tastes. This place is priced right. It is acually cheaper than most restaurants with comparable food.I would highly recommend trying this place. It is worth a drive.

New and interesting independent restaurant in Folsom

by Dick D.

Folsom doesn't have much of an inviting food and beverage scene unless you have a taste for the mass market chains, which more and more are making every city in California lose their individual character. I am happy to report a new restaurant has recently opened up in Folsom - Manderes has a comfortable and classy atmosphere, great food, and an extensive beer and wine selection with something for everyone. Their menu is a mixture of old standards and eclectic new tastes. Their crab, lobster and sweet corn chowder is so good your real danger is not getting to the restaurant before they run out. Today's spur of the moment lunch consisted of their "Bulgogi Hoagie", merging the American steak sandwich with a centuries old BBQ style perfected in Korea. Joining the sandwich were great fries and a very generous Caesar salad, all for $10.95.The service was friendly and attentive on both of my visits and I look forward to returning soon. Check this place out - you will not be disappointed.
