5 Stars: The Very Best (by jo l.)

Perfect Chinese place for a Romantic Date!

It has been years since my family had a top quality chinese restaurant in town since our last fave closed years ago. My mother discovered this place and we go there often now. The food is always fresh and top quality. I now like eggrolls thanks to Yao Fuzi too. It's hard to tell how it will be on the outside. It looks like it could be one of those scary random asian places since it's between I think the tobacco place and something else in the middle of a strip mall, but once you step inside it's a gorgeous small modern contemporary restaurant that is just so nice. The look of the place is as top knotch as the food is. You are Definitely missing out on the best Chinese food in the Metroplex if you don't eat here!

my faves: the eggrolls, mongolian beef, kung pao chicken

My only con to the place: their wonton soup (which is "shanghai style?"). I like the boring typical wonton soup you find at all chinese places (I'm a picky eater). Their wonton soup has I think cabbage in it with shiitake mushrooms too. I am not a mushroom fan at all and just eating around the mushrooms doesn't help b/c the mushroom flavor is embedded into it. If you're not as picky an eater maybe you'll find their wonton soup really interesting to try.

5 Stars: BEST Chinese in Metroplex (by Lisa G.)

I love trying new restaurants but when it comes to Chinese food, I am picky. This has GOT to be the BEST Chinese I have ever had. Not just standard meals here. There are fresh ingredients, unique flavors, and great waitstaff. Try the blue crab wonton appetizer with mango sauce-I could eat 25 of these! Happy hour specials during the week. This place is unassuming on the outside but is wonderfully decorated on the inside. You can' go wrong with anything that you order here...
