I've always liked the Unicorn over at Berkeley, so my friends and I decided to give the new location a try. We had dinner there Friday night, but we were the only customers - one table on a Friday night, weird! But the food was fresh and yummy and we got undivided attention. =) The price is okay, not too expensive.
I highly recommend the giant scallops! They are delicious with the purple sticky rice. But if you are not a fan of wasabi, stay away...

Having had great success with his restaurant in Berkeley, Kiet Truong recently added a Unicorn in the financial district in SF. You'll want to get reservation at lunch because it fills up fast. Pan Asian food with organic and local ingredients. Lunch specials like the "Grilled Niman Ranch Steak and Prawns Duet with Chao Zhou Rolls-Spanish Rice" for only $12, are served quickly and melt in your mouth. Even though everything on the menu looks great I'd probably get that dish again it was so good. Good wine list. Haven't checked it out at dinner time but given it's proximity to union square it's probably still hopping then.
