Heather's preference for black and white photography emphasizes her commitment to fine art photography. She has also recently started using a beautiful low contrast color film and is receiving much acclaim. Because of Heather's distinct vision, A La Mode Photo has been featured on "Good Morning America" twice as one of the premiere pregnancy photographers in the nation. Most recently, Heather was featured on "CBS The Early Show" (WATCH VIDEO) with Kate Smith in a 4 part series entitled "The New Faces of Motherhood. She has also been featured on the "Dr. Phil Show" for her stunning pregnancy photography. More exciting things follow in the new year such as magazine spreads and more! Heather is based in Santa Monica and has clients travel for shoots from around the country to meet her vision. She now shoots on a regular basis in Malibu, San Francisco and Orange County so that all Californians, north and south, can experience her great energy!

I had a photo shoot in February and the weather was amazing and so was Heather. My son was not really in the mood for a photo shoot but somehow Heather was able to capture some precious moments. I am so greatful to have met Heather and to have worked with her, her work is OUTSTANDING! I am looking forward to my next shoot in May.

All you have to do is look at the stunning photos on her website and you will see why she has received such national praise. When Heather shot my pregnancy photos, she managed to capture that special glow and sense of magic that I was feeling. Beautiful photos that were not all "stagey." She also did photos of my baby on her first birthday. We got the perfect shot of mom and baby that I will treasure forever. Heather is a dream to work with. You don't get the feeling that it is a job for her...she loves it and really wants to get great shots. Many of my friends have used her and all have been thrilled. Try to make it to the beach if you can...Heather rocks there.
