I just wanted to send a thanks to Stein Diamonds for great service and a wonderful diamond ring! I wasn't too sure about buying such an expensive item sight unseen, but the 30 day guarantee and the BBB rating helped! I shopped quite a bit and did a lot of research on diamonds before the purchase. I found some places that were close perhaps on price and quality, but Stein Diamonds was the winner for sure. I ordered an Emerald cut diamond and found that the local chain jewelry stores didn't carry stones with a color rating better than J and not a clarity better than S1 for the same price (I got an F color and VS1 clarity). Others told me "it doesn't matter because the color isn't noticeable and the inclusions can't be seen with the naked eye", but a better quality stone always looks prettier and will always have more value.

When I went to specialty jewelers I found comperable diamonds but the price was much higher. Actually the price at Stein Diamonds was the same as for a diamond several grades lower at other stores. So I got a great diamond (with GIA certificate) and a great price!

When she saw the ring she said WOW! and she was actually speechless!! It looks great and I am looking forward to looking at it (and her) for many years to come! I can honestly recommend Stein Diamonds to anyone!

I just had to share my experience I had with my local jeweler this last weekend. As the correspondence below shows, in spring of 2007 Stein Diamonds made my engagement ring in 18k white gold. We subsequently ended up ordering a Tacori wedding band to go with my engagement ring.

Three years later, my Stein Diamonds e-ring is beautiful...but the Tacori band was looking dull and dingy. I suspect you use a better alloy in your white gold than Tacori does! It looked like an old nickel. I took the set into my local jeweler for rhodium plating. He asked where we'd gotten the rings and I told him. After he had inspected, he told me that to his surprise, the workmanship on my Stein Diamonds engagement ring was superior to the "big name" wedding band.

Better quality, nicer looking gold, and good prices...what more could we ask for? Thank you, once again.
