Very Talented Style Team

by Maisy D.

I am a long time customer of Keri Di Pietro and feel she is talented and honestly knows what is best for your style because of facial features and hair texture etc... She has always listened to me as a client and has disagreed with what I wanted at times but explained why something wouldn't work with my texture or offered a way to re-texture my hair to fit the style I desired, I have tried many things over the years curly, straight, long, and short. This shop works so well as a team it is amazing, when there is an issue they consult each other and listen to suggestions from each other. Very lovely, the stylish and welcoming shop feels elegant and still homey, a difficult combination. I can only say when I have listened to Keri's advice my hair has looked wonderful, when I haven't followed her advice and concise directions for care and maintenance I did have problems... Her patience in re-training me in care and maintenance and warm smile always keep me coming back for her to style my hair.

Nice until there is a problem

by Danielle B.

Went to the salon this past weekend for a hair trial for my June wedding. I met with Kathy and she was very nice and did a good job on my hair. The way my hair looked was just how I asked for itthen the problems began. When she attached my headpiece (a handmade pearl tiara) she broke 2 pieces off. She kept saying that the pearls needed to stand up straighter and kept pushing them forward, but she just had the headband angled wrong she told me just to super glue it. It was an $80 crown that was handmade, it cant just be super glued.

Next issue is I have myself and 4 bridesmaids who need our hair done by 10am the morning of my wedding. When I booked the appointment the receptionist Elaine said that it would be Kathy (the stylist) and a couple assistants. When the appointment was over, I asked Kathy how many people would be working on usshe told me just her. There is no way she could do all 5 of us that morning before 10am (Unless we wanted to start at 5am, which is ridiculous and not possible). I asked that I be refunded my $50 deposit since they could not provide the service that I agreed to, and also since I would need to have my headpiece repaired or replaced. They said it was against their policy to refund a deposit but the owner would give me a call the next day to discuss it. Of course she didnt, so I called the next day and the owner would not even get on the phone with meElaine the receptionist relayed everything she said. They said they would refund $30 of the $50 deposit, which I said was not acceptable. I was hoping since they could not provide the service I thought I was going to receive and out of good faith for damaging my personal property, that we could settle this amicably.

(Also, they claim to have the lowest prices for expert work but they charge $65 for a trial and leading competitors in the area only charge $30.) Basically they are nice until there is a problem, then they treat you like crap and refuse to rectify the situation. Not good business practice and unprofessional.

Simply THE BEST

by emily r.

I have had hair extensions for many, many years by many different so-called extension "specialists". I would trust my hair to no one else but Noelle Salon. These people are the absolute best! I first came to Noelle Salon after a horrible experience with a hair extensionist in New Hampshire. I was, for all intents and purposes, left practically bald by that extension experience. Noelle, who personally does my hair extensions, along with my colorist, Suzy, brought my hair back to healthy. Suzy is the most amazing hair colorist around - a true magician.

Personally go there!! You will be thrilled

by jenn s.

I have super super thin hair and found Noelle Salon website and I am so grateful I did!! Their prices are great, the service even better.I met with Kerri D and now I would not go anywhere else!! She is professional, kind and will point you in the right direction for what your type of hair needs!! I have been lucky enough to get to know the owner Noelle who is always there to greet me with a big smile and genuine friendly words. I love the atmosphere here. Believe me, they take their job seriously, and if there was ever any type of issue all you need to do is ask for Noelle she is fair and compassionate. Don't take my word or anyone Else's just go and meet with them you will be thrilled!!

These guys are amazing!!

by Lee V.

I've been going to Noelle Salon since May 08, and love how they've changed my thin, short hair, to a thick, beautiful head of hair. Reading some of the negative stuff on this site only tells me that they didn't give this place a fair shot. I hiccuped when I first got my extensions - it was a learning curve for me to figure out how to clean and handle my new hair, and a learning curve for them to react to how I was adjusting to the extra hair. A few tweaks and now I feel totally comfortable with caring and styling my great hair! Everyone at this place is so friendly, Noelle the owner is awesome. Keri DiPietro, who's my personal savior, is unbelievably talented and found me the perfect solution for my hair. It's crazy how having beautiful hair has given me so much more confidence ~ I'm just thrilled and recommend this salon to Everyone I meet. Like anything else in life, sometimes you have to tweak and adjust after the first time, but it's well worth it. Trust me - these guys know everything about hair extensions and solutions for thin hair!

5 Star Hair Extensions & Salon

by Madison R.

I always wanted hair extensions, and they changed my life. I am from South America and my hair is unruly and coarse. I had my hair relaxed at Noelle Salon and then left with a beautiful head of long hair. It matches perfectly. I have been wearing them for over a year now and am just so thrilled I had to right. The salon is beautiful and the staff is friendly and they all help each other out! What a great experience!

just my opinion

by Jessica P.

I went to this salon recently for a consultation. After hearing their pitch I trusted the stylist to color, cut and have extensions applied..
Well here we are 3 weeks into the whole ordeal. I am very dissatisfied with all of the services. I went back to have the hair looked at (i am having a lot of trouble with it) They treated me like I am dirt, and their how dare I complain attitude is just wrong. I need to have them removed and have my hair recolored and all I can say is it will not be by them. I paid good money and felt like I was robbed. Attitude, attitude attitude... Not worth it. :(

Noelle Salon - just go for the BEST extensions/service/experience

by Kat F.

I can tell you, I have tried them all, weaves, wefts, etc. This salon truly cared and LISTENED to what I wanted and what my hair needed. This was the most important, I could wish for the best head of hair - but you have to be realistic and work with what you have. They did this and my hair has gotten so much better, that I can cut down on the amount of extensions I need. Their pricing is great also. Try it for yourself and see.

best extensions and color around!

by Josie D.

I recently went to Noelle Salon in Malden after having a disasterous experience with a color and cut. After doing extensive research online I decided to book an consultation to see if my hair was 'repairable.'

I was greeted with a smile and felt comfortable the minute I walked in the door. Both Suzy, the salon colorist and Kathy who I consulted with about hair extensions, were terrific and most of all PATIENT and answered all of my questions (as I had MANY!!) ..and the BONUS was, I am getting married in the fall and hadn't found anyone to do my hair and it turned out Kathy also specializes in formal hair styling...and she lives up to her reputation, her work is BEAUTIFUL!! I came to Noelle's after losing all faith that my hair would EVER look good again, and I left feeling not only excited but relieved that 'good hair days' are on the horizon!!

I strongly recommend anyone who is contemplating a 'hair change' or has ever considered or wanted hair extensions to make an appointment...do it, you will be amazed!!

If you like your hair, don't go near this place!

by Anonymous

Advertised as a less expensive route to having long, luxurious hair extensions. Fair enough, BUT the saying you get what you pay for applies to this hair salon. My hair was a wreck when the extensions came out; my hair is dry as a bone, all my ends were frayed! On top of that, the weight of the extensions themselves ripped out my hair by the root. What I'm left with is half a head of damaged hair! As an 'authority' salon on hair extensions, they need to be more responsible in determining whose hair will survive the extension process. Save your hair, pay the extra money, and go to Newbury Street. Trust me, you'll be ever so grateful you read this.
