InterContinental San Francisco is the Bay area?? s newest luxury destination. The 32-storey glass tower sparkles high above the city, standing sentry over the South of Market (SoMa) area. The hotel is convenient to everything, including the Moscone Convention Center, Union Square, Chinatown and the Powell Street Cable Car Turnaround.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel on our last visit to SF in May. The bed is SO comfortable, and the bathroom is huge. I am a huge fan of contemporary design, and this hotel exudes modern elegance. The food price is on the higher end of the scale, but that is to be expected from a hotel such as this one. My husband loved the big LCD TV, and I enjoyed the city view from our floor-to-ceiling windows.

I really loved my room at this hotel! It was great to have such a nice room and you can tell alot of thought went into this hotel. The staff was helpful and caring. They even sent up some snacks as a thank you gift!

Very nice hotel
by markdavidh
This is a very nice hotel. The staff is friendly and helpful. The room is nice and, at least in my room, has a very nice view. A nice suprise was the large flat screen HD TV. Room service is promt, and although the menue is a little on the pricey side, it's not totally unreasonable for ht type of place it is.
Pros: nice place, staff, and food
Cons: none
