In one sentence, this place just ROCKS! Absolutely!
The best ever gourmet pizza I've ever tasted in my life (and trust me, I've tasted quite a few of those) - the pizza crust, fresh out of the brick oven, is to DIE for. Your taste buds will go wild with ecstasy. The toppings are also so beautifully blended with the crust, not just sprinkled over it. Sheer culinary magic!
I can't wait to go back and try the Veggie Lasagna - finally I find a place that serves that!! :)
Everyone in and around Portland should visit this place without a second thought - two thumbs way up!!

I have tried many of the pizzas and all are outrageously delicious! The crusts are thin and the ingredients are "to die for". When I am eating these pizzas I say, "It is so good you don't want to swallow it because then it is gone!" Ha! The salads are awesome and the French onion soup, baked in the wood oven too, is decadent as is the walnut pie. Anyone wondering where to eat in Oregon City just has to try Mi Famiglia. Excellent atmosphere for visiting and great service!

I am definitely a foodie and Mi Famiglia is a find. I am always looking for small bistros and casual dining places that serve upscale cuisine without an upscale price. This place is it. The food is fantastic and consistent. I spoke with the owners about the menu and they confirmed that everything is made fresh on site. I work in the foodservice industry and know that in 2008 you can purchase everything pre made, ready to go and processed. I am so happy when I find a local place that uses fresh ingredients with consistency in the menu items that I can patronize on a regular basis. Mi Familiga is family owned and you can tell they are a close family by speaking with them. They really want to serve a great product and have an environment that locals love to frequent. Thankfully there are still people out there that want to get back to the basics in a world of immediate gratification even if it takes a little longer to do so.
I am not sure who Anonymous spoke to, but the family that I met was very kind and generous with their time and seemed genuinely interested in their customers.
Thought of the day: Did you know that TIPS = To Insure Proper Service?
Sometimes living in a society with a sense of entitlement, people need to be reminded that service means to meet the needs of the customer not the Queen of England. Even then I am sure her staff have their bad days.

I have dined at Mi Famiglia several times since they have opened. While I would certainly not argue that the food is excellent. I would however like to make a quick comment about their second rate service. Some of the employees are cordial; however, most seemed bothered to be serving you. I certainly do not expect smiles every time and anyone to go out of there way to be nice all the time. However, a smile every now and then or at least showing some appreciation that you have chosen their restaurant over the literally hundreds of others would be nice. The female owner seems to be the least friendly of all and she too seems often bothered that you have come in.
This is not NYC where rude behavior is part of the character of some restaurants. This is Oregon City. I understand they are attempting a fancy dining experience for there guest but I feel the need to remind you again this is Oregon City. I will more than likely continue to patronize Mi Famiglia but really wish they could smile once in a while or at least seem interested in you as a customer.
Great food Fair to poor service

Mi Famiglia's Wood Oven Pizzeria opened a few months ago in downtown Oregon City and Wow! Literally everything on the menu is terrific! Mouth watering pizzas, calzones, paninis, lasagnas, soups, breads and more are all homemade on site in front of your eyes and baked in the big wood oven. All the ingredients are fresh, not canned: rosemary, garlic, mozzarella, oregano... walk through the front door and your nose will think it's died and gone to Heaven! I've sampled most of the menu and have been amazed at how good everything has been. Discover this gem for yourself! Open Tuesday through Sunday at 11:00 am.
