My sister and I frequent sushi restaurants within Fort Worth at least once a week if not more. We decided to go to Wasabi. We ordered an appetizer, sashimi, a roll that had white tuna, and a glass of wine each. The appetizer was a "jalepeno popper" appetizer. Though it had potential to be good, the jalepenos were still way too crisp and fiery hot to the point that you couldn't taste anything else. The salmon sashimi was good, but not any better than any other sushi restaurants in the area. The white tuna roll (that the waitress recommended) - Kiss the Fire - was absolutely awful. It tasted like a wet dog smells (sorry, I know that's disgusting). If you appreciate good sushi, you have probably tried white tuna at one point or another. I have have excellent white tuna, but this was just terrible. My sister and I both choked one piece down (though it was not easy). We decided that it was not worth the calories or the torture (someone should have paid us to eat it) to eat any more of it. We told the waitress that we didn't like it. She took it away, asked us if we wanted anything else (to which we said, no) and then brought us our check. When the check arrived, there was no adjustment for the roll that we had expressed dislike for and had barely touched. Though my sister was embarrassed (b/c it is actually not fun to complain about food) I asked if there was any adjustment they could make on the bill since we did not like the roll and sent it back. It was a $14 roll and we had already spent well over $25 per person so I suggested that they could at least take some of the price off, but I understood if they couldn't. The waitress went and talked to the manager and said that they would not make an adjustment to the bill. My sister and I were very polite about it b/c we are pushovers, but we were frustrated on the inside. I can only remember complaining about food maybe twice in my life, but I have always had the restaurant make it right by either fixing something else or taking it off the ticket. Anyway, we accepted our loss, but as we were walking out, the manager at the hostess stand gave us a terrible "go to hell look". This was completely unnecessary. The entire time, we never created a scene or even talked loud enough so the table next to us could hear us. We showed no sign of frustration whatsoever b/c we are nice girls. We even smiled and said thank you as we were walking out, only to be met with a look that could kill. I'm shocked at how rude the manager was. Part of managing a restaurant is having good customer service. I will not be returning and I hope that I can prevent someone else from having a bad experience. Go to Sushi Axiom, Sushi Tao, Pirhana or Tokyo before going here.

When you walk through the doors of this establishment, you are immediately greeted by a very friendly host. The interior is spacious, intimate, and cozy. The sushi is beautifully crafted and presented. The pricing is pretty standard for the food.
