I first discovered it when they were located in their old location. We travel from Yakima, WA just to shop here. Love the displays, especially antiques mixed with other things. I always buy something and go home inspired to decorate my home. We always seem to miss the great sales so guess we will have to plan our calendar around them. I always recommend this shop to others.

Common Folk is a fun place to shop, whether you have somehting specific in mind or not. They have a wide variety of items available, from inexpensive to pricier. You could find somehting for most anyone on your list here.

I love this store! They have something for everyone. Gifts, jewelry, home decor....you name, they have it. They even offer you coffee or tea while you are shopping. and not it a styrofoam cup. But a nice mug. They package your purchase in a cute bag w/ tissue. They think of all the extras.

This place is always a winner. Interesting displays, great smells, even better staff and well priced items. Something for everyone in every budget. This is a great place for a special one of a kind gift and really fun during holiday seasons.
The owner and staff go all out in decor, spirit and food. You are treated to a lovely mug of coffee/tea and even on a good day a little candy or cupcake treat.
The staff are extremely helpful and accomodating.
The store is so fun to poke around in and find something new.
PROS: STAFF, Fun decor
CONS: None- except being right next door to NY Cupcakes, where you just HAVE to buy a dozen!

What a wonderful shop! Who would have expected to find something as cool as Common Folk at Crossroads? I don't usually go to crossroads, but I had to check them out after reading about their "great store" on Mindy Weiss's blog. I walked in and the sales gal asked me if I wanted a cup of coffee! Wow, who does that? I passed because I just went to starbucks, but it was nice to be asked. This store is filled with amazing stuff. I spent 45 minutes wandering around and finally decided on a custom charm bracelet that I put together myself. I can't wait to take the neighbor gals there!.
Pros: You'll definately find something you love
Cons: Now I'm hooked on a new store

I want to say, I was in town for a wedding in Seattle, I live in New Jersey, My sister told me I HAVE to go see this store called Common Folk Co. Well it was sure impressive. we had a wonderful time, the store was having a wonderful Wedding open house, the workers were all so friendly.. There was an artist there who I got to meet signing a book she wrote for weddings.. we shopped ate some wedding cake, then went and attended our wedding! I found the most exciting things there,I cannot wait to return to Seattle/Bellevue area to come back... Highly reccomended.. I really loved the way things were displayed. and lots of really unusual hand made jewlery.. I am really hopeing this store goes online soon so I can shop when I am not there! hint*
Pros: Great store front, lots of parking... so much to see

Common Folk Co is my all time favorite gift store and MORE... if you have never been here its a MUST SEE stop.. you walk in greeted with smiles and warm greetings, the store is really like no other, its unique in design and display, there is something there for everyone. I love all the original one of a kind art work and jewlery , any holiday you can go to Common Folk Co and find unique original artists art work. This place makes you feel right at home, its truly a one of a kind DEVINE stop for you and your friends on a day to escape.

i came to common folk in bellevue searching for unique birthday gifts for my girl friends. i am so glad that i stopped by! so much to choose from - soaps, candles, stationary, jewelry. i especially loved the monogrammed soap dishes and coat hangers. common folk is bellevue's locally owned version of anthropologie. best yet - they gift wrap everything for your for free! amazing customer service!
Pros: lots of parking, complimentary tea
