Did tons of research and got lots of different bids. John was always professional, and worked to make me happy and worked to fit my budget of $13k. The shaw handscraped floors made a dramatic difference in my home, and the installation was painlessly fast and beautiful. I have done many remodels, and will use him in the future for my flooring needs. Of the nine or so different flooring people I got bids from, it was only John Landers and one other company that were truly honest and actually cared. I have faith in his abilities and his fairness and do recommend him. Do not sign a contract with anyone before getting him to bid your job.

Years back I had wool carpet installed in my home. No one mentioned to me that moths could become a problem. This year we suffered a huge moth infestation that ate large sections of the carpet. I went to Landers Premier Flooring to find the best way to replace my flooring. Stephanie was so helpful in pointing me in the right direction for the best type of carpeting to have with my young kids and large dogs. We ordered it and set the install date. Due to rain, the installation got moved back one day, but that's not their fault. The installers showed up right on time, were very polite, and I was comfortable enough to leave them in my home while I meet someone for lunch. You could tell these guys are experienced professionals. And they were so fast! By the time I got back from lunch, all the new carpet was installed and they had already moved my furniture back in. It looks great! We're very pleased with the selection, price, installation and service we received from Landers Premier Flooring. Thanks Stephanie!

Cristen Finnell was a super sales gal for me; she is very helpful and knowledgeable not only about the carpet product lines Landers carries but also demonstrated great experience in decor when she came to my house with samples. Her attention to detail is outstanding and I highly recommend her to anyone looking to purchase carpeting.

My husband and I shopped around quite a bit before making our choice for hardwood flooring and company to install. From the first impression to the end of our installation, Landers Premier Flooring met and exceeded our expectations! The showroom is beautiful and had a large selection of samples to choose from. John personally came to the house and helped in choosing the right kind of wood for our home and budget. Installation was top notch! The team carefully moved furniture, worked quickly and were extremely courteous and professional. The 1,000 sq. feet project was completed in one day - floors 100% floated out (not just spot floated) and prepped, wood and trim installed and cleaned, and furniture back in place. It was amazing! I cannot say anything negative about our experience and look forward to doing more business with Landers in the future!

Some of the flooring had a manufacturer defect. Thirty boards had to be pulled up. It was a long (3 month) process but boards were replaced. When something like this happens, distributors and independent inspectors need to come out. Reports need to be filed. I guess it doesn't happen too often but when it does it is an inconvenience. This could have been a one day install/visit. After the install there were 5 additional visits to get this resolved.

Pros: Wanted to be sure I was satisfied

We were delighted with our experience with Landers. Experienced salesman Dale took the time to explain whatever we asked, and gave us excellent advice... even when it meant a smaller sale for him. We greatly appreciated his assistance and prompt responses (and the fact that he's fast on email, which makes things so much easier).

Their installers delivered a beautiful wood floor on schedule - and it only took 2 days to do ~1300 sq ft. We highly recommend them and will definitely be coming back!

We visited every flooring store in Austin, and picked Landers specifically because of our experience meeting Stephanie. We had been burned previously by Lowes during a kitchen remodel, and really appreciated her honesty and enthusiasm for our project.

Landers installed our new tile and carpeting, and we love it. She gave us great product recommendations, and the installers were very professional and did a quality job. We would recommend Landers highly.

We recently changed our wood floor on the first floor and the stairs. My wife and I are both very picky when it comes to quality, installation and good price...always looking for the best deal.

Being true to ourselves, we did a lot of shopping before deciding to purchase our new wonderful wood floor at Landers Premier Flooring. John and his team, not only met but they exceeded our expectation.
The ordering process was very easy and the floor came in on time! The Landers team was very flexible to work within our crazy work schedule when it came to the installation. After the installation, we didn?t like a few of the boards, no problem, they came and replaced them.
The installers were professional, fast and really good.
Overall, John, Stephanie and the rest of the Landers team made the whole process a great experience. I would recommend them with no hesitation.

As for us, we will return for our next flooring need.

We love our floors! Landers Premier Flooring is what it says, "Premier." The showroom is beautiful and the wood floor we had put in is lovely. As business owners ourselves, we can't say enough about the customer service that Stephanie and John provide. We have never had a more professional, concerned and accommodating crew work in our home before. The floors were in so fast and the attention to detail is unsurpassed. I look forward to future projects and will highly recommend them to friends, family, and business associates.

We used Landers Premier Flooring for our Bedroom carpet. The showroom was fabulous and I loved the wide selection of flooring. They were very patient in helping us to choose the appropriate carpet. The installation went smoothly and we have no complaints. We plan to go back when we get around to replacing our carpet upstairs.

Landers is one of our vendor partners where I'm not the least bid worried about sending my clients or interior designers unaccompanied. I can always count on John and Stephanie to meet my clients' expectations and see their project through to completion. Landers stands behind their work and takes any "field issues" very seriously, with diligent and truly concerned follow-up. They can handle high-end or budget-conscious designs and installations with the same level of top-notch service.

I'm a custom builder and I send all my clients to Landers to make flooring selections. I've installed their wool carpets in quite a few homes and I really love them. They've made a great effort to offer green, sustainable, healthy choices in flooring. They also stock EcoTimber Healthy Bond glue to use with glue down hardwood floors. We built our home last year with a custom builder here in Austin. As a part of that build process, we had to make thousands of decisions and work with 30 - 40 sub contractors to make our housing selections. By far, Landers is considered an A+ supplier by many of the local builders out here. Landers was the primary flooring vendor used by builder. We ended up choosing two different types of carpets and one type of hardwood floor. We were able to work directly with John and Stephanie on our selections, and we picked what we wanted in about 2 hours. The best part of the process is that they use their OWN guys to install the product. Their hardwood floor guy has been installing for 18 years, and he does a spectacular job with the product. A few weeks after we moved in, we dropped one of our pieces of art onto the floor. Landers came out for FREE and replaced the board. Wow, hows that for service. Landers has the relationships and customers to stay in business during these economic times when many of their competitors have business closed signs on their doors. I would not hesistate to recommend Landers Premier Flooring for anyone who wants to have it done right the first time.

We had a large amount of flooring changed out in our house so we had a lot of dealings with Landers. From the moment we walked in the door (which was after closing time) to the final installation, the experience was a fully positive one.

I rave about Landers to everyone I know who needs new flooring. Even after installation when we needed something fixed, Stephanie was quick to return calls and help move the process along. I will continue to recommend Landers not only for the beautiful flooring, but for the wonderful customer service and experience.

I just had over 1,000 of hardwood flooring installed in my home. The installers were amazing. The job was completed in one day and the floors look beautiful.

Stephanie and John Landers were extremely thorough and professional on the sales side. My experience was very positive and I would do business with them again without hesitation.
