My social club wanted us to visit this spa. Although the rest of the group was VERY PLEASED with the spa, I was very disappointed and the reasons why are below:
1. The lunch - was a basic salad, no meat, and warm orange juice
2. The facial (papaya) - made my face bloody and I looked like I had been beat (she extracted and then did the facial)
3. The body mud treatment - they were out of mud (HOW?) and they used peppermint instead and wrapped me in thermal paper--my body temperature dropped too low
4. The hair style - the lady couldn't style my hair because it hadn't been cut and she stated "your hair is a challenge"
I paid $300.00 and when I left that spa I looked a HOT MESS! The spa treatment ruined my trip and I would NEVER recommend this spa. I was sorely disappointed when I saw that Essence had recommended it. I no longer trust Essence or Ebony recommendations on ANYTHING
