Waited 2 hours and nearly walked out when everything was overcooked. Service was nasty. Never again

I will never go back there do to a horrible experience. The beer is overpriced and the service is painfully slow. The food was nothing to write home about either.

The food and the drinks are well overpriced. The service is always slow (although the bust boys are fast to clean/pack up your food). The food is ok but nothing spectacular. The waitresses are not the friendliest. On busy days they need more bartenders because you could spend 20 minutes waiting for one drink. I have only been there about 4 times but I do not plan on going back.

My husband and I found it the first time quite by accident. We enjoyed the atmosphere and the food. As we left that day, we both agreed that we'd probably never find it again .. or have the need to.

We were wrong. We found it again today on our journey from Pleasant Valley, NY to Allentown, PA. Once again, we had a delightful visit.

This time, I'm telling our family about it so they can enjoy it as much as we have.

The salads are delicious. The service is always slow, the drinks are too expensive and I will not be going back.

True Irish ambiance! The roof of this restaurant was actually thatched by it's owner, which makes it authentic to Ireland! Great food, and they know how to pour the Guiness correctly... that's key!

We went to Thatcher McGhee's for Saint Patrick's Day. My husband and I split a Reuben, my cousin and her husband split the corned beef and cabbage and a friend had the lamb stew. Every one really enjoyed their meal. Thatcher's is a neat place to go. It's like an authentic Irish Pub, complete with a real thatched roof outside and a small one inside as well. Definitely worth a visit!

At Thatcher McGhee's you won't be dissappointed if you are looking for an authenic glass of Guiness. Besides having a true Irish bar, the restaurant has a great menu. It is truly a place to enjoy a relaxable dinner with friends since they never seem to rush you. The servings are a healthy size; you won't go home hungry!

Thatcher McGhee's is a great addition to the dining options in our area. The shepard's pie is amazing. Tons of choices in beers and wines. They did a beautiful job decorating it, too.
