Positano Pizzeria & Restaurant

Positano's is by far the best italian restaurant/pizza place in the area. I have had parties both in the restaurant and have had parties catered. Joe and Steve are awesome!! They know exactly how to help you throw a successful party. As for the food....Scrumptious!! I recently had a party catered for 40 people and everyone left raving about the food. The guests will be talking about it for weeks to come. I have had a Mom's dinner in the restaurant, once again people were talking about the food for weeks after. Everyone loved it so much we are going back again. The gave us so much food that we were stuffed! The wait staff was so attentive and helpful. I do not think my glass of wine was ever empty. I have not had the pizza yet, but will be having some soon since I just discovered they deliver to Bloomingdale. I have had numerous chicken and veal entrees (Sinatra/Positano/Piccata) and they just melt in your mouth! The sausage and peppers were so tender. The pasta is to die for. My favorites have to be the Penne Positano and Rigatoni Polo. Their salads are incredible! The Positano Special Salad is delicious! They have an apple salad with pine nuts that I am dying to try. The Eggplant Rollatini, Sausage and Peppers, Antipasto, and Mozzarella and Tomato Salad are also worth trying...YUM! As you can see I think I have tried a lot of the menu items and WOW, they are all great!! If you get a chance pick up your favorite bottle of wine and stop by for a great meal or just order take-out. You won't regret it. I am sure (like me) Positano's will become one of your favorite places to eat!!!

We ordered for the first time and were very pleased. The warm grilled chicken salad was excellent. They package the chicken separately from the lettuce so it was not soggy. Which was a good thing because the salad was huge. I had the leftovers for lunch the next day. The delivery service was also close to the time they quoted.

Positano's Pizzeria and Restaurant is a great place for all occasions; whether it is to grab a quick slice or to sit down and enjoy a delicious meal. The prices are more than adequate and the service is excellent. Definitely a great place to try!

I love the pizza! It has just the right amount of cheese and it is never salty. The restaurant is great and the service is excellent, but get there early. They are really crowded on the weekends.

I have been here on several occassions, both with family and the work crowd. The pizza is good, and the salads are great, especially the Lorraine Salad. It is very satisfying and delicious. the back room is perfect if you have a large crowd that woulf like to eat together, and they have a front area for casual dining. Service was good.

We had a "Mom's Night Out" for my son's preschool at Positano's. It was a wonderful night out with fantastic service! The atmosphere wasn't as great as their food nor as nice as their Wayne restaurant, but that was fine by me. We did a sit down dinner, which was served family style. They started us out with one of the best, largest & most filling bruschette appetizer I ever had -- they made it right on top of pizza crust and cut into pizza slices. Next came a penne vodka and cavetelli & broccoli and a salad. There was so much, I thought that was the main course! On to the main course ... they served three or four varieties of Italian food choices. Lastly, they offered an array of desserts from tiramisu to tartufo with coffee, tea and cappuccino! It was definitely worth the 20 something dollars we paid per person! I would recommend them, especially for something like this. Plus it's a B.Y.O.B. ... so bring your bottle of wine and enjoy a wonderful meal at Positano's!
