The staff here was great, they provided me with quick and knowledgeable service. The prices were reasonable and pretty on par with other places that I had shopped around. You have to experience it to appreciate it.

I bought a car from Auction Direct this weekend. I bought a Chevy Malibu and loved the whole experience that I had. When we came in I was given Jen as a sales person to work with. She went over how the whole company works and why to buy from them. I did have an appointment so it was nice to come in and have some one waiting. We looked at cars for a while and I didn't even buy on the site. Jen called a few days latter to see how I was doing and that made a difference to me. She again asked for our business and we did come back. If you are looking for a buying experience that is less heartache and refreshing then Auction Direct is the place to go! Jen was great and I am recommending everyone I know to go see her!

They sold me a vehicle that I later found had damage underneath.... the bumper was zip-tied (yes, zip-tied), and the shroud on driver side was broken and wired together...very shoddy. Why not just pay the few hundred dollars to fix it? Because they scammed me and I thought I could trust them to sell me a good vehicle...DON'T trust them!!! I took the vehicle to a dealership the other day and asked them to do a thorough inspection and tell me everything that was wrong with it. Along with the zip tie holding the bumper (I'm still smacking my head on this one), the wires holding the broken shroud together, I found out the springs were not even attached to the frame of the car!!! Unbelievable!!!

Really can't add to the list of negatives published here by others. Just put my two cents in to say avoid them at all cost.

Absolutely a horrendous company to do business with. They do not pay for services provided to them.

If they treat people that buy cars from them the same way they treat businesses that provide services to them the consumer is in trouble.

My husband & I had spent weeks searching for a car. With most listings we were interested in, we'd call only to find that the car we inquiring about had "just sold" but, invariably the dealer would conveniently have "several similar cars" (code for more expensive). Therefore, when we called Auction Direct, we were pleasantly surprised to be told the car we were interested in was actually there!

We live over 2 hours from the dealership so, prior to going to, I made several calls to discuss our situation & verify the details. One of our vehicles had recently been totaled when a drunk driver ran a stop sign & t-boned our car. My husband is an injured, active duty soldier & we have 2 children under the age of 4 so, we needed to make this transaction as smooth & straightforward as possible. We applied for, and were immediately granted 100% financing through Wells Fargo.

Since we were coming from GA, I wanted to make sure that they were familiar with out-of-state customers & the financial aspects involved with the taxes. I was assured by TWO different employees that "they deal with GA customers all the time" and that there would be no hidden financial surprises. I explained that this was especially important since the driver who totaled our car didn't even have enough insurance to cover our existing loan. We were going to be out-of-pocket several thousand dollars until the insurance could be worked out. Again, we were told they "knew just what to do".

Of course, the salesman tried to sell us the extended warranty & gap coverage through the dealer but, that's to be expected. What we DIDN'T expect was to get a letter & SALES TAX BILL a week after the car was purchased! The letter stated that "not enough taxes were paid at the time of purchase". I was shocked since we'd been ASSURED by the dealer that they knew "just what to do".

I immediately called the dealer for an explanation but, was told "no-one was available" & they would return my call. After waiting 3 DAYS, I called again. This time, I spoke to a "finance manager" who basically said, "Bummer - sorry.". When I reiterated this was EXACTLY the situation we'd wanted to avoid & was the reason I'd made that so specifically clear PRIOR to purchase he replied that they only charge what "FL law requires them to". When I asked why they didn't say that BEFORE when I'd asked, he had no answer. We've previously purchased cars in FL & have NEVER rec'd a subsequent sales tax bill so, I know it IS possible to handle the taxes during the dealer transaction.

Now, on top of all the other issues we have to deal with regarding the accident, we also have to immediately come up with additional money for sales tax!

Yet another stereo-typical used car business that tells you blatant lies to get your business. Don't let them do the same to you!

I bought a fabulous barely used PT Cruiser last April and I had no problems. Despite the fact that I have the worst credit ever, I got a suped up Cruiser w/ less than 9000 miles. Found out it was a 6 month lease that the original person didn't keep, but they did have the foresight to upgrade the car with a Boston stereo system & satellite radio & sunroof. The best part? My payments were just $50 more than I'd decided I would pay. The bonus is the financing was short term-only 3 years! I pay extra so it reduces the legth of the loan. I totally recommend this place to anyone looking for a very good used car.

From the first step in the store, the experience is great. If you've searched dealerships, it's nice to walk into a store that's organized with people that seemingly know what they're talking about. The prices are phenonemal, that is, until you find the car you want to buy and start finalizing the deal. All of a sudden the car that was a great 14,400 is 16,010. Where did this 1600 dollars come from? While they're bypassing answering this, they're trying to sell you on "fabric upholstry" warranties that will charge you 700 dollars. Then they claim this huge charge is the "tags, title, and doc fees". These cute little document fees will tack on 600 dollars to the vehicle price, which they then (so thoughtfully) tax. Tags and title are overcharged about 200 dollars. Even when I have my own financing and my own transferrable tags, they still wanted to charge me 100 for them. When asked about the document fees, they justify it by "the place down the street charges 1,000". So I guess if all the dealerships in the area charged 2,000, it would then justify their prices to go up. The prices might be great, but they'll get you there. If you give up and are tired of searching for a car and don't want as much of a hassle anymore, than this is the place for you.
