my boyfriend and i have been to this restaurant for couple times, first we thought it was just okay since it was two years ago when they just opened. we have a hard time getting table on the weekend, and now we go there only weekdays. since i have couple minutes i would tell you why i like Thai Tida.

If you read their website and the front menu you would understand little bit about this place. new york times says it's a hiding place since im a local so im very happy to have a good place go eat and not be bothered by tourist. we are real-hard-core vegtarian, and they do deliver what they promise and i really liked when their chef came out and explained how our food would be cooked differently.

If you have been to thai tida you can tell the place is being done by hands and based on what they have. it's a not a big place with expensive decoration work, however, its feel warm and welcome being there. There is a display box(used to be a cooler) that i wont miss to go back every month since they have it changed every month. we were told it was done by their head chef, who is one of the owner's sons. If you have met the owner and see how young she looks, you won't be able to tell how old her son would be. Since I'm Korean i am good with guessing about asian women' age, but, I wouldnt have gotten this one right.

Our favourite dishes there are Pad Thai, green curry, and Tom Yum with Tofu. If you like meat, I am sure you would love their Combo of grilled chicken, sticky rice and green papaya salad. I, once, had a saute with vegetbles and pineapple which was not really my favourite.

Something different about this restaraunt is none of their server is thai. we thought it was little strange for not having any thai server on the floor, however, we dont really see a real japanese server in any japanese restaurant anyway. most of their server their are pretty friendly. Our favourite one is the white lady in her late 30's.

if you are thinking of checking this place out, try weekday when they are not too busy. im sure you would enjoy the good food and service their.

You must make reservations but this genuine Thai restaurant is worth the trouble. The freshest ingredients make up their one-of-a-kind menu selections.

Super Lunch Specials!! All food is made fresh on-site so it takes a little longer to be served but well worth the wait!! They have parking behind the building too which is a plus.

I am Thai and always went to siam since it was the only one thai restaurant in town. My wife's friends took us out for a dinner at Thai Tida couple weeks ago and we were amazed. They were really hinden out of town ... WITH GREAT FOOD. The duck panang curry was amazing, and the fresh red snapper was our big hit! I love fish and i can tell they really take it real seriouse when it comes to fresh fish. I had a little problem with the parking, but found out later that their nextdoor got a huge parkinglot right in the back of the restaurant. I am not gonna compare the two thai restaurant because i like them both. however, I would def recomment Thai Tida since they are new, cleaner, fresher and bigger menu with friendly price. i do miss thailand just from their padthai.

It used to be Sideways Cafe but has turned into a tiny thai restaurant about a year ago. Thai Tida is a quaint restaurant with great prices and good portions.
