I moved to Attleboro from Providence a little over a year ago. I heard about the restaurant called "Fresh Catch" and it sounded appealing. I am also a member of United Airlines Frequent Flyer program and they are listed as a points partner so I decided to give it a try as their restaurant list is usually comprised of average and above establishments. I have traveled extensively around the world and have had my share of fair, good, mediocre, fantastic, poor and just plain bad restaurant meals. I have been to this restaurant twice; once for dinner, and once for lunch. My first visit was for dinner, the second visit for lunch was to give the benefit of doubt that the poor quality of food on the first visit was due to a very busy night. On this second visit there were 4 people in the restaurant.
The restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere with a family style mood, however the quality of food resembles that of a very over-worked, tired, financially-strapped, homemaker. The food looks and tastes like yesterdays leftovers propped up for re-distribution. The texture of Fresh Fish is unmistakably missing from the meals served here. To add insult to injury, their steaks are no prize winners either; looking and tasting like a reject from an inexpensive steak house restaurant. Overcooked [even if ordered rare] devoid of any color, flavor or texture, and harboring the unmistakable aroma of old seafood, their red meat a sad excuse for the term 'steak' at best.
While the prices initially come across as being "reasonable", one might be better off stopping at the grocery store for a frozen dinner. At least then your expectations won't be let down and most likely, you won't be throwing as much food in the trash.

Was looking forward to going for lunch since we only been there once before and sat at bar and had some sushi. Anyway the fish was terrible the service was the worse I have ever encoutered. Apparentely the waitress misunderstood what we had ordered we wanted the lunch special fried Sole and fries instead we get fried "fish" with the skin on it. My daughter, mother and I were so taken back I almost got sick right there. Anyway we get the bill its 5 more a plate than we thought I am thinking what the f*ck is going on.. Thus the waitress came out and said you ordered the fish and chips. hugh we ordered the lunch special fish and chips sole but she sat there and argued with us and we asked to have the bill adjusted accordingly she went inside came back out and said they couldnt adjust it. We were like may we speak to your mananger she had such an attitude then the "manager" came out leaned on the fence with his arms crossed and said what you didn't like the fish? We are like no thats not what we ordered he said we should have known the difference between Sole and Haddock.. WE were like we never had Sole before so how would we have known and that Haddock? it sure didnt taste like haddock. He went inside with his attudide ajusted the bill the waitress came out and pretty much slammed the bill folder on the table . . She kept arguing again that we ordered the other we were like whatever its not what we wanted.. My daughter was saying must have been a mis-communciation. I cannot believe I took the afternoon off to be acused by the waitress and Manager of lying. It was so baffling . We were called out on this and I feel that both the waitress and manager shoudl have been more considerate of me and my family since we were the customer and their "guest" I WILL NEVER GO BACK and I already have advised anyone that will hear me to do such.. I heard the Mansfied resturant is nice but nah wont even bother
PS the fish was terrrible

went Saturday afternoon and had a great experience. the place was clean and the sushi was FANTASTIC as always. the only thing that got me was on Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday they normally have half-off sushi and my daughter and i go for lunch, and the special was randomly switched to just the bar and not the whole dining room. but we stayed in the dining room anyway my waitress was very friendly, always attentive, even greeted by name after seeing me only one other time. the place is a MUST see, very quiet and casual with best sushi around.

Fresh Catch recently established this location to complement other locations in the area. It is a most welcome development for the Attleboro area, which was lacking a quality seafood restaurant. The food is nothing short of incredible, and they also offer sushi. The only drawbacks are the crowds, and the slightly higher prices that come with superior food.

This is the best seafood restaurant in the area. They have a large menu and the fish is very fresh. Prices are in line with other seafood restaurants. Plenty of parking but they are very busy so there might be a wait. Highly recommended.
