I??ve been a frequent customer for a number of years now even when the competition came to town. Everyone tried to get me to shop at the competition because of the great customer service they were receiving. I have to say I would have bought more from Home Depot if the customer service was great instead of alright however the bottom line is price& quality. My family income is over 100,000 a year and I spend about 25% at Home Depot and that is before the home improvement project that we are doing. So far I??ve spend 30% for mostly damaged goods and I??m not into the real home improvement of things. Just from the poor service, no call back for special orders and costly price of damage material I am thinking of seriously switching to the competition for the same service but great customer service just because I can (principal). I project of spending over 50% at Home Depot to improve my home if I take my business to the competition, whom will that benefit? Home Depot really need to pick it up a notch with special orders and service the customer and quit selling damage goods b/c with no customers no business and HD looses. HD has been around for a long time and I would like for it to stay that way but if they don??t pick up the ball??well, we are all doomed.

After checking their website we went to do a reality check on the pair of LG Power Steamer washer/dryer. A salesperson asked me if I need some help but in a way like don't touch if you don't buy attitude so I told him I'll get back to him once we finalize our choice and we moved on. I asked a nicer salesman but he kindly begged off and referred us to back to the guy who later introduced himself as 'schooled for W/Ds'. When asked about LG vs GE, he started that LG is becoming the leader but "we don't know how their factories look like" compared to the US. He cited as an example one 'American' brand he sells (opening a lid briefly) that it's made in Mexico and "I don't even know the factories look like". He also mentioned who knows if other brands are made in Bangladesh we don't even know about. I interrupted him before he mentioned my country and get offended by saying, of course they are manufacturing these according to the brands standards (with ISO, UL in mind) but he ignored me and kept on talking as if I didn't exist. He spoke about free haul-away so I told him I just bought a brand new house that same day so there??s nothing to haul back and took the opportunity to inquire if they have a program about cash incentives of hauling a brand new fridge if I were to buy a better model, same brand from their store. His response indicates he's not paying good attention: "We don't even know what kind food is in your fridge and we don't want to contaminate our other customers." So I clarified that "it came with the house but I just want something better" (almost said, we are so poor we don??t have food in the fridge). This guy probably thought I cannot afford one so he offered a display he's been meaning to dispose to give way to new models, a GE Profile Steam W/D, which my wife also liked. So I asked him for a quote after he said it doesn??t come with free delivery/ installation etc. He said he cannot make a quote without my info so he handed me a credit card application so since I also like to apply (per nicer saleman's suggestion) I filled out the form and he made me a quote after 20 minutes. Since he's already entered my info in the system, I asked if he can do the same for the LG so we can make a sound decision assuring him that we will buy either one of the sets. He made sure I notice that he's irritated. At $2000 a pair ($500 difference) we picked the GE and trashed the quote on LG. Not conferring with me he went on to file my credit card application. Not too smart or not paying attention, he entered my appliance delivery address (new house) not my current address so he triggered the fraud alert set on my account on the credit bureau. He got mad so I offered paying in debit instead. He asked which one I want to purchase, while he lectures me about quotes and real invoice as if I don??t know anything. I replied ??This one.? as I was about to hand him the printed quote. He raised his voice, ??I gave you two quotes, which one do you want!? I got confused for a while because he hasn??t seen what I??m handing him yet he started complaining again. He acted like he doesn't want to cooperate so hell broke loose; we exchanged bad words before I turned my back on him to look for the manager. I heard him page someone (I thought security) but saw his manager rushing towards the area so I decided we settle this in front of the boss. He even acted as if he's gonna hit me but his manager commanded him to back off. I had an excuse of being out of shape but I almost give him his due but again there's no honor for a black belt to beat a seemingly unbalanced person. Did I mention that he even refused when his boss handed him the quote he took from me hadn??t his boss told him in a loud voice that it??s just one quote? I opted to settle the deal not to waste two hrs of my time so we completed the sale (under manager's supervision). I have yet to find out more when it gets delivered. Next time better wear suit when buying washer and dryer.

HORRIBLE customer service. I ordered carped over 4 months ago that was supposed to be a GREAT deal ! (according to the salesman,) i paid 2300.00 , waited forever for a measure then they had to come back & remeasure! Then they called weeks later to say there was a problem ...i was told by a assistant manager to choose new carpet...I did, got a call the next day that my selections were too expensive, i got angry...then the original carpet was mysteriously found ...or not ! the wrong carpet was delivered 7 days ago, i refused it, i had spent 1 & a half days empting the contents of 4 rooms! a dept. manager agreed to give me a credit, but I would need to come back & spend more $$$( no more great deals!) to get new carpet! me thinks "bait & switch!"

I was very disappointed in this location. I walked around the store for ten minutes before I ever found anyone to assist me. The prices are good but I if you can't find something, you might have some extra frustration.
