Floyd's 99 Barber Shop

This place plays up the up-scale, edgy motif, and it is a nice enough place. It's a little on the pricey side if you're just looking for a cut, but they do a nice job and you get a shoulder massage to boot. Very friendly service as well.

Floyd's is a unisex barber shop. My husband loves to treat himself to a straight razor shave for his face for only $24. I go there for my regular hair cut which is also only $24 for downtown Boston, this is a steal. They have DJ playing music, and they gladly take requests, this fits in well with all the music posters covering the walls. All the stylists know how to work on any hair type and are extremely friendly. Oh yeah they also offer discounts for local college students.
