Frequented here several times before and the experience was good, until New Year's Eve Day. We got in there early before the New Year's Eve dinner rush. We were seated right away at a table near the door by which we could feel a cold draft move our way anytime someone opened the front door. We could not move much because there were random customers standing close-by us most of the time. The worst part of it all was that we had ordered our meals but it took them several hours for them to get it out to us. The waitress had to constantly remind the cooks about fulfilling our order but we received our meals only when we were about to walk-out after being the only nearly forgotten party in the restaurant. We were upset and took our meals to-go.

This is one of the best Thai restaurants I've ever been to. Their service is fast and friendly, their restaurant is clean and their prices are very reasonable!

Sugarcane Cuisine is the best Asian food on the south shore. The ingredients are fresh, the presentation is beautiful and the service is outstanding. The restaurant itself is clean and upbeat. It has a relaxing atmosphere with a fresh, modern look. The food is addictive!
The owners are refreshingly friendly and kind, treating all who enter like dear friends. A modern restaurant run like a 1950's diner where the owner remembers your name and greets you when you come in. A rare treat nowadays!

Sugar Cane is, by far, the BEST Thai restaurant that I've ever been to, including restaurants in Thailand!The food is prepared perfectly, obviously with a lot of love from the chef. It's hard to say what I think to be the best dish as I've eaten at Sugar Cane and, every time I eat there, it's the new BEST. The truth is that I've never had anything 'just good'; It's always the BEST.The ribs are to die for, the massamam curry has no equal, the Korean beef rice dish is amazing, the soups are terrifically flavorful, the balance of spices perfect.The servings are very large and extremely reasonably priced.everything is cooked a la minute, everything is fresh and perfectly prepared.The service? Amazing, friendly and Oh, the owner, is a sweetheart.If I lived in the area, I'd be at Sugar Cane five times a week! I live in Boston and try to make it to Sugar Cane at least once a week. Nothing in the Boston area even comes close to the food, service and pricing that Sugar Cane offers.Give yourself a real treat. Go to Sugar Cane before the lines keep you waiting and salivating for their terrific fare.

Love Thai food & was a frequent diner of another Thai restaurant until I tried Sugar Cane! "O", one of the owners, is a delight. The food is delicious and fresh, the service wonderful and the place is clean. You will not go wrong by tring them out.

I am/was a frequent at the Chatta box. After trying Sugar Cane today for lunch I am hooked. There decor is excellent and food is even better. Plus they are the only restaurant locally that carries Sum Tum and it is unbelievably good. I suggest everyone try this place. Once you do you will be hooked. I even got food to go for dinner tonight!

Just went in for dinner last night and already can't wait to go back! Both the cuisine and decor are fresh and modern. Perfectly seasoned Tom Kah soup with bright, crisp veggies-- really lovely! Crisp and chewy scallion pancake with a flavorful curry sauce, YUM!
I hope more people discover this new gem. It will undoubtedly become a new favorite after just one try.
Easy to get to (right off Rt. 138) with easy parking. Has a TV, bathroom, and beer, wine, and liquor selection in addition to a long list of smoothies, tea, and other beverages.
The BEST Mango with Sweet Sticky Rice I have EVER had!! I'd go back just for that dessert alone.

This is by far the BEST Thai restaurant we have dined at. Clean, inviting and pleasant. The wait staff are by far the best, the food is beyond belief, fresh fresh fresh!!!! The menu is extensive with many choices and believe me all are delicious!
Once you've tried this restaurant you will not be going back to your now"favorite" one cause this will become your "favorite" Thai place!
