I am very sorry for the issue you had with our company.
Automotive Avenues strives for superior customer service, on a consistent basis, both pre-sale and post-sale. Our 98% Customer Satisfaction Rating is indicative of how we strive for a positive experience with each and every customer. We have a reputation in the industry as a top-rated auto buying service for Credit Unions and a referral rate of over 40% from previous buyers and partnering Credit Unions combined. Naturally it is very upsetting for us to see a negative comment about our business.
First, we would like to apologize to this individual for their unfavorable experience with Automotive Avenues. It is not the way we have done business for 24 years. In fact, we would like to issue that apology over the phone but we do not have their real name.
We utilize industry-leading technology in order to stay in touch with our growing database of customers. Our opt-out rate is less than 1% each month which tells us that our correspondence is relevant and welcomed. However, we remove any names from our database upon request.
We are asking for a second chance to change your mind about Automotive Avenues. Please contact me directly and I assure you will receive a professional and prompt response.

Automotive Avenues represents POOR customer service!
by Greg D.
My experience with Automotive Avenues was very poor, if not just plain bad. When I first called, the salesman I spoke with seemed to be very interested in helping me, took all the information, and agreed to "get back to me asap". This never happened. Instead, I started receiving all kinds of "spam" e-mail from the business, and eventually, over TWO weeks later, and e-mail from that very same salesman asking if everything went well in doing business with them! Incredibly, I replied and informed him he had NEVER done anything to help me, and I was shocked to get what was surely a "canned" computer generated response with his name on it, but obviously he had NO clue who I was, or what I had originally asked for so long ago. Then, he wrote me another e-mail simply stating he hadn't been able to locate the vehicle I was interested in, so apparently he just "dropped it" without EVER recontacting me with ANY feedback. To make matters even worse, I attempted to contact the GM of sales there to advise him of the terrible customer service by FORWARDING two e-mails to his e-mail address. The first one went through, but HE then "blocked" me from forwarding the second COPY of his own salesman's email! I would VERY strongly recommend to anyone to NOT do business with these people. And I plan to tell EVERYONE I know or talk with about vehicle sales NOT to have anything to do with them either.PLEASE beware of this "business".

Highly Recommended To Anyone
by Bob B.
It all started back in October last year when my wife and I thought it might be a good time to trade in my 2003 Ford Explorer which had over 113,000 miles on it. The economy was slow and the car dealerships seemed to be more willing to deal than when times were good.
I looked in the internet for a newer "used" Ford Explorer or something similar and found one in Brighton CO. that I thought I might go and look at. On the way, I decided to stop by my credit union to check the price on my car and on the other one in their "Blue Book" to get an idea what I was doing before going out to see the other car. The girl at the credit union recommended that I call Jerry McKay at Automotive Avenues before going thirty some miles to see the car that I had found on the internet. She said that they had been dealing with Jerry for a while and everyone had been very happy.
I decided to take her advice and called him. I told Jerry just what I was looking for and he said he would get back to me. Jerry called me a day or two later and told me that the one I had wanted to look at was sold about the time I wanted to see it. He had found three or four cars that might be what I had in mind but he found a "NEW" Mercury Mountaineer that had all the bells and whistles that I was looking for and he talked the dealer who had it down over $6000 before he even called me.
Jerry told me that he could have the car brought across town to his lot if I was interested in looking at it. My wife and I decided that it would not hurt to look even though we did not think we could afford a New car. We were still interested in a Used car at that time.
We met Jerry McKay when we went to see the car and were happily surprised to find out he was not the typical pushy, high pressure type that we had dealt with in the past. Jerry did not play any of the games that most salesmen play like "I have to go see what the manager says" and come back with a higher price that we were talking about. I found out that Automotive Avenues does not have any of it's people work in that manner. Jerry sat down and told us what he had done so far with the dealership who owned the car. He negotiated the best price that he could for us. He had his own people check out my trade in and when we questioned the price offered, he raised his offer some so we could be more likely to afford it. We did not have to see any of the managers to play games nor did we feel any pressure to buy this car. He would have been happy to find us something else if this did not work out.
I bought my Used 2003 Ford Explorer with over 25,000 miles on it about four years before this and now I bought a Brand New Mercury Mountaineer for about $3000 more than I paid for the used Ford. The Mercury is a higher quality car than the Ford with more equipment that is standard. A much better buy all around.
I am extremely happy with Automotive Avenues dealership and their non pressure policies. I have given their name to several of my friends and I would highly recommend them to anyone. I will not buy another car from anyone else.
Thank you,
Bob Brelsford

Recommended Without Reservation
by Joe R.
Our family has used Automotive Avenues for several car purchases -- both new and used -- and we couldn't be happier. We like having an advocate working for us, the buyer, in an arena where too often the seller holds all the cards. Their people are friendly and the service they provide is top flight. We recommend Automotive Avenues to our friends and family without reservation.

Buying a car at Automotive Avenues
by Automotive Avenues
My Wife and I have purchased several vehicles from Automotive Avenues and will continue to purchase vehicles there because the buying experience is so positive. We bring our vehicles there for maintenance as well, because whatever needs to be repaired will be done correctly and in a timely manner.
Now that we know about Automotive Avenues it is unlikely we wil ever by a car elsewhere. We always look for the same agent, Pat Shane, she is always friendly and respectful, over the years we have come to think of Pat as a friend. We recommend Automotive Avenues to any one that we know that is looking for a vehicle whether they are looking for new or used.

Pros: Best car buying experience ever
Cons: Only one location
