Great gym, annoying classmates 3 Star Rating - Satisfactory

I loved this gym when I first started- It's clean, well-maintained and the class instructors are great. However I eventually stopped going last fall because of all the ditzy girls showing up late to yoga classes and disrupting the meditative process. I complained to the gym about it before and they tried to take care of it, but the yoga instructors themselves are so easy-going they never enforce the rules about showing up late.
I wish Astoria weren't so gentrified because I'm going crazy trying to find a gym like this one only with out the bimbo yuppies. I did really like the atmosphere on the whole. There was always a nice diversity of body shapes and ages- but it just wasn't worth the membership fee anymore ($80/mo) to be agitated during relaxation classes by a bunch of morons- you know the type of inconsiderate dumb-dumbs that stress you out and make you want to do yoga to begin with? Well, when they're in the class with you it makes the whole thing counter-productive. If you're only going for the machines or some of the less popular classes then you'll probably have a great time.

Pros: Clean, friendly staff
Cons: irritating classmates
