Located on 73rd Street of New York's busy Upper East Side, Bounce is a place where any sports enthusiast can call home. With flat screen tvs broadcasting every boxing, football, basketball, baseball, hockey and additional sports event ever invented, great food and an overall vibe of being at your best friend's house for a game, it is no wonder that Bounce holds the title for being one of the best sports bars in the city. Csll us about our private parties, where we'll have scrumptious appetizers and tasty treats for you and your favorite friends. Then remember to come back and see us any day of the week for a beer, and some downtime with us while you watch your favorite sporting event. We can't wait to see you!
I have been going to Bounce since it's opening and I love it. I may be a little biased because I know the managers and staff, but I know them because I actually like the place and kept coming back to get to know them. The bartenders are great(Jen, Amy, Christina, Vickie, Lina etc), the managers are great(Billy is the best) and to top it off the food is great. I have watched the wait staff, barbacks and busboys work very hard to satisfy their customers and I for one appreciate it...I'll keep coming back. If I had to give one demerit it is that the bathrooms are really small. THAT IS IT!!! AND I AIN'T LIVING IN THE BATHROOM SO I DON'T CARE.
Keep up the good work Yosh!!!
Pros: Great Staff and Management
Cons: Bathrooms are small

went in with a friend of mine who was known..he was taken care of, me, ignored..it was fine, sitting there partying with Yousif(owner) all night...then the bill comes...it doesn't matter who you know, $200 for beers and two apps, which btw the staff had no problem helping us eat. forget this place, there is plenty of other bars around like the Bullpen that take care of people
Pros: none
Cons: rip off

All well endowed, reminded of a Sinfield episode :) The bartender was stunning as well!! (She should be doing modeling work)
Nice atmosphere, nice size TV monitors. Had an appetizer and was very good. Bathrooms were being redone, not a big deal for me though. Going back to check out the waitresses ;)
Pros: Hot waitresses!
Cons: Hot waitresses! :)

It's the Upper East Side. Not the Meatpacking District. Not Greenwich Village. The Upper East Side. So why must this place try and impersonate a nightclub - complete with inattentive service and downright hostile, we-don't-give-a-@#&% service? Allegedly a sports bar, Bounce bombards anyone trying to watch its washed-out flat screens with the doof-doof-doof of a bad DJ. Note to Bounce: You're not a club. You're just a sports bar! Try turning up the sound on the game once in a while. And while you're at it, if a customer has a legitimate complaint, why not offer an attentive ear instead of the puffed-out chest of a defensive manager more suited to be a rent-a-cop? The last straw was being hustled by one of those tarts who wields a tray full of Jell-O shots. After buying three for $3 each, I handed over a $20 and was told I would not be entitled to change. I had to demand my change from the bartender. When I complained about it, I was surrounded by three thugs and escorted out the door. Thankfully, there are too many better sports bars to go.
Cons: Inattentive service, hostile attitude

My friend and I went to Bounce to grab a bite, drink a couple beers, and watch some playoff games. It wasn't exceptionally crowded but there was only one waitress and she was obviously overwhelmed. It took us 10 minutes to get a beer and 20 minutes to order after that. For second beer we gave up getting the waitress' attention after 10 minutes and just went to the bar ($22 for 2 Sam Adams it turns out).
The food came out quickly, but was mediocre at best. When we got the check, we saw that the drinks from the table next to us had been added to our check. 10 minutes later, we got the correct check. The manager delivered the check to us, and my friend took the opportunity to tell him the service was unacceptable, particularly because he'd been chatting with his friends and dancing with the waitress the whole time. He proceeded to lean across the table and start yelling that she was wrong and that she didn't know what she was talking about. I had to put my arm out and push him away because he was being so aggressive. We paid our check and were walking out when the manager called across the bar "have a good night ladies", winked and blew a kiss at us. I have honest.ly never seen such appalling behavior - from the MANAGER. I assure you neither me nor any of my friends will ever go back to this place, and recommend that you do the same.
Cons: Manager yells at customers, blah food, bad service

I went to Bounce on a recommendation by a friend and I will definitely be passing on the recommendation! I went for lunch on Saturday to watch the game and had the wings-I have to say some of the best I've had-the sauce was great and plenty of meat. The bartenders were really friendly and gave great service with a smile(which is sometimes hard to find in New York)and I ended up staying for much longer than I had planned! Well done Bounce-I will definitely be coming back with friends!
Pros: Great service, great value, accommodating to your sport preference

We came here on a Saturday night with all of my buddies to watch the game at the bar and we couldn't believe the vibe, the service, the music and how cool the bartenders were! Michelle and Jen are hot and fabulous and they really know how to treat people well. The DJ was killing it too! Now we love this place, not only to watch sports, but now we like coming just to hang out all of the time. It really is, hands down, the best bar in Manhattan.
Pros: Hot staff, ambience, music, vibe
Cons: NOTHING

Went here to enjoy some time with friends and instead found the music obnoxious, the food lousy and the drinks watered down. There are tons of better places to watch a game and enjoy a night.

There was nothing special about this sports bar. The DJ is pretty good and could have you dancing all night. Drinks are made conservatively and good. Bartenders are good looking and friendly. Food is above average. Had a good time, would go again for the happy hour to chill out but not necessarily a place to hold a party. I held my pre-bday celebration there, no complaints and the manager gave my crew a round of house shots but again there's nothing too special here.
Pros: Food, drinks, DJ, bartenders
Cons: just your average sports bar

I stumbled upon this place after walking by and seeing the TVs through the big open front doors last summer. I've been back quite a few times since. There has never been a problem about seeing whatever game you may be interested in watching. Football, basketball, and baseball are staples, but you can see hockey, boxing, and lacrosse. All you need to do is ask and they will try to make it happen. The staff is fun, attentive, and very pleasant to look at. The food is of good quality, quite a surprise for a sports bar. Try the Teriyaki steak wrap, a great meal in my opinion. The music can sometimes seem repetitive, but if you're there for the music then you're not at the right place. Larger bathrooms would be nice. But it is not a big place, which means it can get crowded during the big games, but everyone is having a good time. If you like sports, good food, a fairly young and relaxed crowd, and alcohol then I don't think you can go wrong with Bounce. But don't let too many people know, I like it just the way it is now.
Pros: Any game you want to watch, great looking staff
Cons: small bathrooms

It's a refreshing blend of attractive sports fans, no problem getting games on, no problem showing games that some might think are unpopular, and the food is DEVINE! Wait staff is courteous and attentive, not to mention eye candy. After the games the music kicks in and the vibe changes to a loungy hip night life atmosphere. Don't know what's up with all the bad reviews, guess those people can't kick it with the New York scene. Definitley going to be participating in the March Madness at this spot.
Pros: service, food, atmosphere, drinks... loved it!

I was recently in Bounce, because it was recommended to me by some buddies. The mistake I made was to open a tab, the bartender, whom I thought could handle a credit card in her possession, because (mind you) this is her job, obviously she couldn't. I am a female and the bartender let another man (whom I have NEVER met before) ADD HIS BILL ONTO MY CREDIT CARD! So, when I went to go close out, my bill was racked up to close to $200, and the bartender goes, well some gentlemen came and closed it out for you already. "Gentlemen, I ask? Which gentlemen?" I was completley appauled that she would let some random guy place his bar tab onto my credit card with NO questions asked. I will never step foot in Bounce ever again.

I'm not sure what exactly happened to this other person who gave bounce a relatively bad review below but I've been here plenty of times and it's a solid sports bar. I have no stake in bounce and if it sucked I'd tell you. I rarely write reviews but I like this place and thought it's getting a bad rap with a bad review sitting there up front. Food actually very good (appetizers at least are great (beef satay, wings, tenders, mini burgers, etc - I don't think we've ever actually ordered sandwiches or anything but finger foods - good stuff). Flat screen TV's cover the bar and are in good places. I'll agree that they do play music sometimes over regular season games and it's a little annoying but main games tend to be on w/ sound. Waitresses/Bartenders are friendly and certainly not hard on the eyes... I did randomly see a certain all star 3b there the other night so if it's good enough for him...
everyone I've ever brought up there has basically said "how come I didn't know about this place before?". For a change of pace of brother jimmy's, ship of fools, blondies, etc. - it's a good bar.
Pros: Lots of TV's; good food (for sports bar); staff thumbs up
Cons: not a whole lot really; maybe M/W bathrooms are single occupancy

I went to this bar last night and was extremely disappointed with the level of service and quality of food. I went in specifically for the Mets/Yanks game...and while they had a lot of TVs, they didn't turn the sound on for the game until the 2nd inning!
Then my friend and I had to wait for an hour to get our food...and we only ordered salads and chicken fingers! When we complained to the manager, he argued our timeline and told us he would "decide what he wants to do" when asked about crediting us for our one drink purchase. When our bill came, nothing was done to remedy the poor service. We were totally disappointed and at a last ditch effort, our waitress came back and then gave us a second bill where they credited our bar bill. It was just too little too late....

I really like this place. It's a nice looking bar, service is good, drinks are good, food is good, what else cna you ask for? Plenty of TV's to see a game from anywhere. The music can be too loud sometimes, causing you to have to scream at whoever your standing next to to be heard! But otherwise, a great bar.
Pros: Food and Drinks, Service, Atmosphere
Cons: LOUD music, gets crowded

I dig this place -- except for the constant weird euro-beats/trance/rap/hip hop genre. a little more rock would be good. bartenderettes are great - quick with the drink - and super cute
Pros: good windoows

This is a pretty decent sports bar on the Upper East Side. It has flat screens all around. Prices are a little high ($5 for Coors Light). Bathrooms are one at a time. Only drawback is that they play music most of the time when they're showing the games (sometimes you'd like to hear the announcers of a main game) and the music is usually too loud to be able to maintain a continous conversation. Staff is attractive and for the most party friendly. Draws a mid 20's to early 30's crowd predominately. Food menus is all right, a little pricey.
Pros: Good vibe
Cons: Loud music

Bounce is awesome place to catch Sat nite College football- and Sunday all day NFL. Bartenders are hot, and good . The quesadillas are amazing.
Lots of choices of Vodka. COOL PLACE
Now, if they would only add some of today's Rock music instead of playing only rap, dance, techno it would be a 10.
Pros: Sports on TVs, Bartenders, Quesadillas

Good place to watch sports, nice crowd and great
service. Food was very tasty, but a bit on the pricey side. Mini sandwiches - 5 for $13 - talk about mini, wouldn't satisfy a Chihuahua as snack. Chicken wings - 25 for $18? come on.
Pros: service
