The name is exactly what this spa is all about. Sanctuary, a beautiful place with incredible massage. I recommend this spa for a Girls Night Out. There are many packages to choose from and the service is incredible. If you book 3 or more you get 10% off.

Worst Managment In The State 1 Star Rating - Unsatisfactory

Oh I have to comment on the post left by Dream2Dream. Hey Valerie your underwear were in a bunch when you wrote this post did someone cut you off on the freeway today. So did you wake up every morning and chose to be bitter about Cameo and the rules or did you act like an adult. Oh by the way I to am a former Cameo student and I would have to say with all my experience with other professionals in this industry I would say that I have learned way more than most. The current Cameo esthetics instructors know more then you every will about esthetics and you and I both know that you never taught any chemistry class. So maybe you should take your own advice that you made after a former Sanctuary employee slammed on you and think about maybe school was bad because you made it that way. Because you said it yourself life is what you make it right? Oh and so everyone knows that if you want to graduate on time you have to actually go to school and not make it hard on yourself like Valerie did. Oh and Valerie dont you think that because of your education and the information you took from Cameo got you to the position you have today being the Manager of Sanctuary. Think about it!! So everyone if you are thinking about visiting Cameo for a service or becoming a student dont take Valeries advice and go there and make your own opinion. Because she is one of the hundreds of students that graduate from Cameo each year and her opinion doesnt matter, because she wants to act like a high school student and hold a grudge.

Pros: Nothing
Cons: Valerie and her opinion

Clouds above the clouds.... 5 Star Rating - World class

Ouch! I just read a review from a ex-disgruntled employee of the Sanctuary. (Hi R.D.) I HAD to comment. I have been at working at the Gateway location since they opened in June 07. Yes, I am a manager, but I am thinking for both sides at this point. I have to admit there are days that I go to work and clash with someone for that day and find things a little frusterating. I have had those days at the Sanctuary a few times, but come on its reality! WE HAVE ALL EXPERIENCED THIS STRESS! I have also had days that I get up in the morning and choose to be bitter to those around me because my undies are in a bunch or I get cut off on the freeway by some one that also has their undies in a bunch, but my bad attitude is a decision I choose to make. It's not a decision someone else can make for me. I have to tell everyone that going to work at the Sanctuary at the Gateway has been a blessing to me. I get to be around beautiful people in and out everyday. I get more respect and support by my General Manager Rick Strout than I have EVER had in many respectful jobs in the past. I get to experience the most amazing treatments on occasion by professional men and women that I work with. AND HAVE YOU SEEN THE DAY SPA, not the mention the METRO GYM??? IT'S BEAUTIFUL, CLASSY and COMFORTABLE (Clouds above clouds). I have to say I am in the luckiest position right now to have the oppertunity to work there and be able to give my clients that oppertunity to see and feel what I feel. Rick, myself and the other managers try our best to create the best teamwork, supportive and enjoyable enviroment for all our staff and family. I feel sorry for those that don't feel the want and desire to be apart of that support. I love my job. No, I love my friends and family at the Sanctuary and want them all to know I appreciate them all. We make the best team! It's even better when I know our clients get the best experiences by those professional men and women I work with every day! With love.... V

Great on the Surface, Bad to dive into. 3 Star Rating - Satisfactory

This is a great spa for a day of pampering or being a full time member. What the clients don't see on the outside however is how the employees are treated. Even when talking to a manager, the employee life at the Sanctuary seems great, but when you've had a chance to work there for awhile, you'll see the snakes. They cheat the employees out of hard earned wages and expect work for no reimbursement. The hours are long and there's no negotiating. Sure, the pay is great, when you get paid. As an outsider, it's beautiful, the Sanctuary is truly a relaxing experience and you'll feel on top of the world when you leave, but if you're considering it as a place to work, make sure it's not your sole income. And good luck.

Pros: Beautiful Relaxing atmosphere and experience
Cons: Parking, and they treat the employees terribly

I have traveled the World and I have never been in a more special Day Spa! The Gateway Sanctuary Day Spa is a day in Tibet. 5 Star Rating - World class

I have traveled the world and I have never found a more relaxing heavenly Day Spa. The Sanctuary lived up to it's name and created an atmosphere that was so fullfilling that I thought I was spending a few hours in Tibet. I loved the Massage and Facial, before my treatments the therapist washed my feet and gave me a mini foot massage. The ambience is truely spectacular and the staff is kind and polite. I will return again and again to enjoy this special place.

Pros: Extremely professional and enjoyable.
Cons: I didn't know they were in town
