5 Stars: Excellent Mechanic!!! (by Ray B.)

Look no further, this is the shop for all of your Auto Repair needs. Detroit Auto Clinic is friendly, knowledgeable, professional and experienced. This mechanic knows foreign & domestic cars very well. I took my BMW '03 in for a electrical problem and front brake service. At an extremely reasonable price, got my Bemmer repaired the same day!!! Ask to speak with Gilbert...

5 Stars: Excellent job, great prices... Strongly recommend! (by A. D.)

Gilbert is easy to talk to, does not mind explaining what is wrong with your car even to those of us who have no idea what goes wrong with cars, and he does an excellent job fixing serious car troubles at extremely reasonable prices. The estimates are always right on price and done when he says they are going to be done.

I have had suspension and brake work done recently, and both cars were diagnosed correctly and fixed accordingly. I can only recommend this place to anyone looking for an honest, dependable, and inexpensive place to fix ones car!

5 Stars: cheaper better faster (by Dan s.)

I was looking for someone to repair my 96 explorer for the check engine light on and engine misfire. the ford dealer told me that i needed 2 fuel injectors & THE COST FOR PARTS AND LABOR WAS OVER $700.00. After calling many shops with crazy prices, I took my explorer to Detroit auto clinic, I was scared at first because his price was one third the cost at the dealer. SO I stayed the whole time and watched them. Once they got the injectors out, Gilbert SAID I didnT need them. I told him to put the new ones in anyway. He was right: the check engine light stayed on and the truck kept on misfiring. I went back to Ford & told them, they said they didn't know the reason. I went back to Detroit Auto clinic AND 1 hr later they told me it was a bad exhast valve on #6 cylinder.

SINCE THEN MY SON IN LAW HAD HIS CAR WORKED ON THERE AND THE SERVICE WAS GREAT AND THE PRICE WAS BETTER.

IF YOU HAVE A CAR THAT NEEDS WORK NOW OR IN THE FUTURE I WOULD GIVE THEM A TRY. WE HAVE SAVED A GREAT DEAL OF MONEY FOR CAR REPAIRS.
