Hi,
I am so impressed with the Bridal Boutique of Plymouth, I had read Heather K's review and hesitated but thought I would give it a try since I had heard such great comments about this shop. Well, thankfully I did. It was the best shop I had been in and I had visited many. I did all of my shopping in one spot, on one visit and I saved a bunch of money. Thank you to Bridal Boutique for making my experience so wonderful!

I found this place to be incredible. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The place is gorgeous, an old Victorian Manor, I even had pictures in my dress taken there. The prices were great, and the selection was very large. I would recommend it to everyone, especially if you want the process to be smooth and congenial!

I called the Bridal Boutique to schedule and appointed to look at a dress that was advertised at their shop which they said they carried; however upon arrival I found out through the girl working at the desk that the store doesn??t even carry that line, but I was more than welcomed to look at dress of a similar brand. Well, I guess you could say I was duped upon walking through the door. I took a look around the shop and listened to the conversations around me and noticed the staff at the desk mentioned ??How can we be outbid 3 second after we just put our bid in?? The staff was ordering their dress supply straight off of eBay, and many of the dresses did look second hand with dirt that clung around the fringe and trains.

After I had looked around I asked the manager to take my measurements so I could figure out the ballpark as to what size dress I should be looking at. She looked straight at me and said ??You look like a 10.? Proceeded to the circle-rack of dresses and pulled off all size 10s. No measurements were done and no real helpful info. She showed me up to the 2nd floor dressing room, and placed the dresses on the hook in the room and closed the door behind me. Basically the way the manager lead me up the stairs to the room was like she was leading the customer like they were cattle. I tried on the dress and right off the bat I could tell a size 10 wasn??t going to work. It was going to have to be between a 12-14. I had no helpful assistance in trying on the dress from the staff, and in fact had to ask a passing customer in the brides maid dress room if she could zip me up, because the staff was no where to be found. This was humiliating. When I walked downstairs to the showing room where there are multiple mirrors to look at yourself with the dress on and the staff was not helpful at all. No one was there to pin the dress to a fit, to help lay out the train, or even to have any type of comment on how the dress wasn??t a proper fit to begin with.

Well since the dress wasn??t a fit, I started to walk back up the stairs to the dressing room to remove the dress when I slipped on the wooden stairs and fell down about four stairs. The young brunette working at the reception desk saw me fall, yet again nothing was said and I was surprised at the fact that she didn??t inquire at all if I was okay. She just walked out to the showing area like nothing happened. My mother walked over to me to see if I was okay. I ended up with bruises on my shin, knee, and thigh.

After this incident, I wasn??t even interested in doing any type of business with this store. I wouldn??t suggest this Bridal shop to anyone. It??s basically set up within a duplex and one side is the shop. The parking area for the shop is the front yard. They order their dresses off of e-bay, and the selection in that store is not that impressive. You have essentially three small circle racks of dresses to choose from. The staff wasn??t interested in helping customer with any type of fitting, trying them on, or helpful suggestions. They seemed more interested in ordering the dress off of e-bay and making the profit off of the mark up.
