Dogtopia of Danvers - Dog Daycare

I appreciate the review of the negative review, but just FYI, I am a consumer and NOT a dog walker. IMO, this facility is not ideal because there is no outdoor play section. If I want my dog to stay in all day he can stay on my couch.
No one tells you that when you call.

I've had great experiences with this place- it's clear to me that it is run by professionals who are not only well-educated but true dog lovers! I've left my dog there several times now and have always been impressed by the facilities and staff- they were even very willing to work with my (admittedly particular) instructions for my dog. I was also amazed by the sheer size of the place- it's huge and has lots of room for my dog to run around. I haven't really gotten the chance to check out the webcams yet, but am impressed that the option exists. Check it out for yourself, but I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

I had a chance to attend their opening a couple of weeks ago and I thought it was a very nice place. It's huge inside and the owner was really nice about answering my questions. They actually had a rescue gorup there the day of with dogs needing adoption, which I thought was a nice gesture.

People should go check it out before writing reviews.

Appreciate the review for Dogtopia; however, sounds like a disgruntled "dog walker", not from someone who did not encounter a good experience with Dogtopia. Unless you had direct experience with Dogtopia, a review should not be written.

I have not used Dogtopia (I use another doggie care center), but am considering switching for convenience. Review from direct experience weigh more heavily than a disgruntled dog walker.

P.S. - I rated satisfactory because there was no other option since I had not been there yet.

This is a franchise - but, frankly, nice people who like dogs are not the same thing as dog professionals! Before going to any dog facility for boarding, training, grooming, or day care, find out where the proprietor got his or her dog experience and how long they've actually worked with all breeds of dogs. On this biz's national web site, the owner of this establishment is listed as an engineer by profession who owns a Jack Russell Terrier. Is that enough experience to run a dog business??? When will people figure out that having the money to start a business is not the same as having the expertise to serve the customer well?
