1 Stars: Atl Scooters can be bad for your health (by Kwame D.)

I took my bike to Atlanta Motorcycles & Repair. It had a minor leak and worn clutch. They gave me the bike a week later: The bike was no longer safe enough to be on the road. Specifically, the choke wouldn't budge, I had NO signals or lights (neutral, oil, turn, brake--NONE OF THOSE LIGHTS were WORKING) and no horn. After insult, here comes injury: They charged me and said pieces of the bike were broken (I brought in a functioning bike that had a worn clutch--that's all). They even claimed the lights were working when I left, even though I saw them (Mel the receptionist) and (Paul) winking at each other as Paul was trying to rev my bike. It took the whole crew of them, Plumer included, about 10 minutes, a jumper battery, manual choking, and a bunch of tricks just to get the bike running. They they came up with about 10 reasons I should dump the bike. True story--I am credible, and I have mechanics and witness who will attest to the egregiously bad job they did. Bottom line: If you value your bike or your life, go elsewhere that has reviews with specifics about the work they did. Contact me for details, as I will be sharing this story to whoever needs to know.I consulted with a licensed mechanic (Precision motorworks) and they were disgusted with what had happened. Maybe these guys do good work on scooters, and they are friendly, but are criminally incompetent and are bound to end up in court when someone dies from their negligent work.

5 Stars: Hotter n Hot (by Doug S.)

Clean Cool, Knows their stuff! I wreck my scooter and the guys said that is usually cause to void warranty. But, I guess that I did not mess it up too bad. I paid for the plastic panels and they warrantied the mechanical end of things.

5 Stars: Satisfied with my scooter! (by Jonathan P.)

I did a lot of research online and looked around at other motorcycle/scooter shops and found ATL Scooters to be the best value for me. I got a decent Asian-made 150cc scooter for right at $2000, and I've been driving it for about a year and a half. Everything works great! Last year I took it back for some repairs (my fault for laying the bike down) and I got it back in working condition and didn't pay extravagant prices for the service.
