Like The River The Salon

Like the River Salon sets the standard for the high level of services provided for clients. I absolutely love coming into the salon and having the feeling of peace and serenity. My stylist Najah always takes great care of me and does a FABULOUS job with my hair. I always leave satisfied, and can wait to come back for the next appointment. I have recently moved to upstate New York, I have not even made an effort to look for a new stylist. I still travel to Atlanta, to get my hair styled. I must say, it is absolutely worth it. I urge everyone to make time for themselves and go to Like the River and have a beautiful and memorable experience. You won't regret it.

I have been going to Najah the owner of Like The River Salon for about two years now and I have never been disappointed. The atmosphere at her new salon is so relaxing and comfortable I truly feel pampered at each visit. The staff is friendly, professional and always accommodating. I have really thick hair which I prefer to wear short and Najah consistently provides a very trendy sophisticated cut. I m so pleased with her service I will not go anywhere else. I have had so many compliments not only from friends and family but strangers often stop me to ask who cuts my hair. I highly recommend Like the River to anyone whos looking for a great stylist and unbeatable service.

I have discovered one of the classiest, most upscale multicultural salons in Atlanta. Najah & Minrell have done my hair & both experiences were extraordinary! On my first visit, I was in desparate need of a haircut. Not only did Najah talk to me about my lifestyle & how much maintenance I wanted to use in order to maintain my "new do", but she gave me one of the best haircuts that I have ever had. She evaluated my facial features and hair texture in order to determine which style would be most flattering for me. On my second visit, my appointment was with Minrell for highlights. She is truly a color expert! She made me feel at ease by discussing each step of the process with me, and also emphasized the importance of blending just the right color(s) to complement my face. When I walked out of the salon, I felt and looked like a million dollars! In addition to all of this, Like the River offers free valet parking after 5:00. You owe it to yourself to visit Like the River -- I promise, you'll never go anywhere else for your haircare needs.

If you like a professional and upscale salon, this is the place for you. They have stylists who specialize in everything from color to natural hair care. The sytlist who did my hair was Minrell. I felt she was very professional by telling me everything she was going to do to my hair, and she gave me tips on what I should do at home to maintain my hair. The salon has a tranquail atmosphere with contemporary look. This is the home I've been looking for!

This was truly an awesome experience. I have been to many, many hair stylist and NAJAH is by the far the best yet!! If you're looking for an enjoyable experience and come out with an EDGE, this is the place for you!! From the shampoo bowls to the hair dryers, this modern/sassy salon will make you feel like you were in another world. The Shampooist was great also! I will definitely be making this my hair salon.
