I am recommending this place for two reasons: Great appliances and excellent customer support. You don't have to go else where!

This location is clean, staff is friendly and very helpful. They are quick to point you in the (right) direction for whatever it is that you are looking for. They can cut blinds/shades to size right in front of you so you can take it home the same day. Caution: The lighting section is extremely hot, like a jungle. But that is not anyone's fault. Even on a busy day I have always managed to find what I was looking for and checkout quickly and efficiently. Also, you can pick up from this location if you find it buy it online and they have it available.

I just love this place , they have all the things I need for my vegetable garden. I love tomatoes and strawberries and they had some great looking plants ready to go.

A lot more items to shop around and choose from vs the staten island or new jersey store I usually troop too. Prices about the same.

There??s nothing like that feeling of rolling a massive orange cart into Home Depot??s massive, wide aisles, ready to take on the world, or at least your home, ready to DIY (do-it-yourself), and with Home Depot??s recent opening in Manhattan, Manhattanites can have that feeling too. It??s easy to get in touch with your inner-designer (or construction worker) here.

My favorite things about Home Depot are the ??knob? accessories section, where one can find furniture knobs in everything from antique ceramic to gold-toned geometric designs- an easy way to update and transform boring furniture and cabinets. Home Depot is also great for plants and gardening. I purchased a huge tropical plant there 7 years ago for $7- and it??s still alive! Staff will help you cut sheet-rock into appropriate sizes. They also offer a beautiful selection of carpeting, including the kind made of recycled soda bottles.

The lighting selection at Home Depot could put Ikea to shame, and has styles to suit every taste and need. I also go there yearly to stock up on compact fluorescent (CFL), energy-efficient light bulbs? they use less than half of the energy of a traditional bulb (which should cover the cost of their much heavier price tag), and last up to 10 times as long (perfect for high hanging lights, where replacing the bulb is difficult). Home Depot is the cheapest place to buy them, offering economy size packs and such. They also have bulbs (in both CFL and regular/edison) that imitate natural sunlight (??happy lights?), increasing vitamin D levels, and staving off Seasonal Affective Disorder/Depression (S.A.D.) good for ??one more gray day and I??m gonna ______? New Yorkers stuck in light-deficient apartments and the dreary months of February-April.

Home Depot has an extensive pest control section, and we know how many critters occupy NYC apartment buildings (and no, that monthly exterminator who visits isn??t really solving the problem- he??s just covering the landlord??s (legal) tail!).

I??ve always stocked up on the cheap, basic, white, formica hanging shelves, and interesting shelf brackets (in small apartments, you can always use more, more, more storage!).

This Home Depot does it for me. I don??t own a home nor do I have a backyard so I never need to buy huge bags of gravel or other items you would generally see in a large nursery. It is spacious, they have tons of merchandise, and the people seem really helpful to me. For some reason or another I seem to have to go get something I can only find at Home Depot from time to time. When I??m here I find myself constantly wandering the aisles and glancing at other possible items.

Last time I went here my husband was in search of a large toolbox that had every basic tool in it. One very nice worker lead us the way and explained the different options for toolboxes they had. They didn??t seem to have a whole lot to choose from but what they did have, was very reasonably priced. It was perfect and just what he was looking for. I was then off exploring other products in different aisles trying to justify why we need more things. Their plants were appealing and again, nicely priced, as well as many cleaning products too.

The two great things about this Home Depot are there are always people to help you and the lines go really fast. It could be laid out differently, but it is in the middle of New York City. I??m really glad Home Depots came here.
