5 Stars: no vomit (by jeannette p.)

ACTUALLY, that last review is a lie. I work at Giggles n Hugs, I work directly with the kids in the play area and I'm there almost every day. I was there all day that last review was posted. There was no vomit anywhere, and nobody had any bugs in there food. giggles n hugs is a great place for families. We have an amazing staff and we all genuinely love working with children. The only down side is that we have to see kids cry every time they leave! If you haven't been to Giggles n Hugs yet, I suggest coming for Disco Night (every Friday night @6pm) our DJ Disco Joe plays games with the kids and plays fun songs that anyone can dance to! There is always adult supervision in the play area, either myself or a few other girls will be in there playing with the kids, dancing, face painting, reading stories, or singing!
We have a full menu that includes pastas, salads, sandwiches, pizza, veggie/turkey burgers and lots more. Our food is healthy and organic, and we will modify any of our dishes just for you, we tend to have many picky eaters. our Giggles n Hugs family is very friendly, from our chef who will personally bring you your dish, to our cashiers who sing and dance, and our bus boys who will make sure you and your child have everything you need, with a smile included :) and above all, the creators of Giggles N' Hugs, Joey and Dorsa Parsi. They are the soul of this brilliant family restaurant. They have two of the sweetest little girls that I have ever met, so they understand what parents and children want. Since I've been here i haven't had to work a day in my life. I've fallen completely in love with Giggles N' Hugs, and I encourage everybody, of all ages come visit us. Just last weekend we had a birthday party for a 40 year old!! This restaurant is for everybody, of all ages from 1 to 100. One of our regular customers is a 72yr old woman who can barely walk comes in almost every day to have our cheese pizza and a coffee. She doesn't come with any children, just alone. She comes for the company and friendly atmosphere. So I believe with all my heart, that everybody needs some Giggles n' Hugs :)

1 Stars: Disgusting! Don't take your little loved ones here. (by Jeff W.)

This place is disgusting. We found a bug in our pizza and all the manager cared about was whether somebody else saw it! He just blew us off. My friend's son slipped in some other child's vomit and hurt his arm. If you love your little ones, please don't take them to this restaurant.

1 Stars: Wouldn't even give it a star (by Monet H.)

I took my grandchildren to Giggles and Hugs tonight thinking that based on its internet site that this would be a fun time for all. However, it was unfortunately quite the opposite experience. The food is pricy, bland and unappetizing, for example the cheese pizza was so greasy that it soiled its own crust with its oil. The area designated for eating has few tables and even fewer chairs. In addition to paying for pricy food, which is poor quality, you are also charged $9 per child to play in their Play Area which is extraordinarily small - - (literally so tiny and congested that it was shocking). The toys and play equipment were dirty, broken and crowded into this tiny area along with too many kids whose ages ranged from 6 months to 12 years old. There were a number of kids vehicle type play equipment and trikes and no place for the kids to ride them. Thus, kids were driving / riding the equipment into others. The entertainment was scheduled to begin at 6 p.m - but did not begin until well after 6:30. I must, however, give credit to the entertainer as it was evident that the kids were enjoying themselves during her performance. She was able to get most of the kids involved.

MOST CRITICAL TO NOTE: The stage where the entertainment performed had two large speakers on each of the stage positioned on tripods. Kids were lying on cushions directly under these speakers during the performance and kids were sporadically jumping onto the stage during the performance at or near the speakers. This is a catastrophic accident waiting to happen. There were two staff members in the Play Area but no staff controlling the play environment or stage to ensure its safety. Also, the older, who are bigger, were running over the smaller kids. It was obvious that parents thought that since the Play Area was fenced in - that everyone was safe within. However, it is precisely the opposite.

I would not recommend anyone to take their kids here, for Giggles and Hugs has horrible food, is unnecessarily pricy, is unsanitary, and a safety hazard.
