I got a spa manicure and a spa pedicure last month when pretty city was having their $31 special to raise money for breast cancer so maybe they skimped on the "spa" part because of the sale. I don't know. In any case, the technician, while she was friendly, filed my fingernails down too low (I told her I prefer short nails but she clearly took it too far, my fingertips were stinging during and after). The moisturizing mask made my feet itch uncontrollably or maybe the itching was caused by the plastic bags they wrap your feet in before inserting them into the electric heated booties. Either way, it was itchy and uncomfortable and I would have removed it myself if I wasn't afraid of accidentally electrocuting myself in the process by dipping a wire into the whirlpool.Also, the massage portion, if you can call it that, was very brief.
At least the polish on my toenails lasted, but I requested clear for my fingernails and it was peeling by the next day.

Traditionally a spa is committed to providing a calming environment, and beauty, health and relaxation are not compromised. Confidence Spa is not a traditional establishment; it?s a nail salon with a few bland rooms and inexperienced (and probably unlicensed) waxing technicians. Last Friday, I made an appointment for a Brazilian bikini wax at Confidence Spa. I had called a day in advance to ask if anyone other than Lisa would be available for this service. My friends had not enjoyed their experience with Lisa, and I did not want risk having a bad incident just because I was desperate to get rid of my forest. When I arrived 5 minutes late to my appointment, I was informed that Lisa was the only one available. A bit hesitant, I finally gave in and followed Lisa to a room. After I had removed my pants and underwear, Lisa starts inspecting my area. She claimed I let the hair grow too much and would have to trim it. I?ve been waxed many times before by an excellent professional, and I?ve never had my hair trimmed before waxing. Lisa pulled out a pair of dingy scissors from a drawer and started snipping away. I asked if the scissors were sanitized, but never got a clear answer. She pulled out a wooden stick and started mixing the wax, applying huge amounts of lava hot wax to the side of my inner thighs. Placing the paper on the wax, she pulled aggressively. She placed the paper she had just used to remove my hair on my leg while she applied more wax in the same area. She then took the same piece of paper and placed it on the wax and pulled again and again. I asked her why she was using the same paper over again, and she claimed it was normal procedure. She must have used the same piece of paper on my private area over 10 times. I also noticed that instead of discarding the used paper or placing the paper on her work station, she would place the paper next to or on my legs. She applied baby powder, which I didn?t mind until I realized that she was not done removing all my hair. After over ten minutes, she asked me to lift my leg so she could work on my backside. I asked her to give me a minute because I was in so much pain. I lifted my legs, and she applied the wax directly on my butt hole. Yes- you read correctly. At first I thought it was a mistake, but she placed a paper (which was covered in hair from previous uses) in the area. When she was finally done, she followed me to the reception area to try to sell me spa products, but I ignored her and paid the service without leaving a tip. I waddled across the street to Duane Reade and purchased Charmin wet wipes and Neosporin. When I was able to find a bathroom, I removed my pants and realized my panties were stuck to the side of my thigh, and the inside of my underwear was covered in baby powder and pieces of wax. It was disgusting to say the least, and I was in pain for a few days. I had made the appointment using Life Booker, and supposedly users get 50% off services at participating spas. That means that my $20 wax is originally $40, which is difficult to believe considering that the same strip of paper was used repeatedly to remove my hair, and Lisa is obviously not an expert. I wouldn?t even think of getting a manicure and pedicure there, since hygiene does not seem to be a priority at Confidence Spa. Let me tell you , sometimes the cheep prices doesn't always work, and Confidence Spa has cheep prices, but you don't want to go there, because you know the rule YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR !!!!!!!!!.

I went here on the recommendation of a friend for a Brazilian wax. I have super sensitive skin and am very prone to ingrowns. Olga was great and super duper fast. The wax was very gentle on my skin and I had very little irritation when the hair started to grow back. Highly recommended Olga!

After reading tons of reviews about Olga and her abilities I booked an appointment. She was a little full of herself.....so confident that it was on the border of snobby. Her waxing skills are good but nothing special like everyone raves. In my opinion, Alex in Dyanna's salon is way better and their prices are the same.

I just had my first appointment with Danielle and absolutely love the results! She was very patient and took the time to talk with me about my color and cut before even touching my hair. I am always nervous about trying a new colorist for blonde highlights but Danielle did a fantastic job adding bright highlights and a few lowlights to keep it looking natural. The cut is fantastic and exactly what I wanted. The prices at this salon are incredibly reasonable and I will definitely be going back! Thanks Danielle!

I had my brazilian wax done on 04.06 09. (For those wondering why it took me so long to write a review...ahem- I have kids that I'm raising on my own because my husband is stationed in Washington. : )
I was getting ready for my husband to return from his 3 month deployment. Since my time was limited, I had to do everything that day because that was the only day my in-laws could watch my 3 kids. Amazingly, OlgaB was great in squeezing me in that morning. She was very sweet and nice to the point she made me cry tears of joy! Her attention to detail was impeccable.
The last time I came here was last year- can you tell I'm a mom, lol- so of course I was excited to return. Olga was so nice and asked me about my family and how me being a Navy Veteran and having a Chief in the Navy is-- stuff most people just brush off or don't really care. Especially because I'm young-27.
She was nice to even wax my eyebrows! She is professional and friendly at the same time.
I wish they were closer to NJ because the only time I get to go is when the kids and my inlaws schedule allow- which seems to be once a year lol. I HIGHLY recommend OLGA and salon to everyone! She is done and over with Brazilians in a flash- which if you ever had one you know the faster it's over the better! Plus, her technique is virtually pain free. ( I have a high tolerance for pain- 3 kids remember?)
LADIES- ESPECIALLY MOMS- go treat yourself to the best at queen OLGA you will be so happy you did- especially with OLGA.....trust me---I am!
P.S. The people who write bad reviews more than likely are haters (competitors) of Confidence beauty salon- go for yourself to see why I was willing to drive 2 hours just to get waxed!
Amazing, quick and, dare i say, virtually painless! Anyone needing a brazlian should definitley go to the OLGA She is the best! I highly recommend her!

My wax experience was terrible. The attendant (Olga) didn't listen to my requests and actually made me feel bad. 24 hours hours later, I'm still in severe pain and have wax EVERYWHERE (even after a shower). I've been waxing for 5 years and recently having moved, I'm looking for a new salon to go to. I have to believe that these other reviews have been written by the salon or friends - all the writing styles are exactly the same and keep saying the same thing. I will definitely not go back to Olga.

On the flip side - my haircut experience with Danielle was great. She listened and was incredibly sweet. Also in search for a new hair stylist, it took me a while to figure out how to explain exactly what I wanted, but she was patient and worked with me. Hair cut isn't exactly what I wanted, but I attribute that to me not being able to explain it well either. I'll be going back to her for sure. I have to give this a one star because my wax experience was so terrible. If I posted a second review, I would give my hair cut experience 4-stars.

Salon in general was bright and clean.

For waxing services, you simply cannot find any better than Olga B. Ive been a client of hers for over a half year now and Ive consistently been thrilled with the results of all of my waxing with her: Brazilian, legs, arms, underarms, lip, and eyebrows! Olga is certainly one of NY best kept secrets in the beauty biz, but I am quite sure that won't last long. One of the things I like most about Olga is that she is extremely passionate about what she does and will always strive to do a perfect job for you. Her Brazilian Bikini Wax is expertly done -- thorough, fast, and professional. The salon provides a lovely atmosphere that makes you feel at ease, as does Olga lightheartedness. I especially recommend Confidence salon to anyone getting a Brazilian for the first time, or to those who are shy. Olga the BEST!

I can't even begin to say how happy I am that I found OlgaB. She is the best hands down! I have been going to her for over a five month now, and every time I am thrilled with the result. She is the absolute master of the Brazilian wax, and she does it so fast, you won't even have time to feel the pain. Her skincare tips are amazing and if you listen to her advice, you'll never have bikini woes again. She always has a positive attitude and welcomes you with friendly conversation. The Confidence beauty salon is amazing, The products on the shelf are carefully selected and of the highest quality. I have been to many salons looking for a good, quick and somewhat painfree bikini wax....but was unsatisfied until I was referred to Olga Queen! She was very personable and made me feel so comfortable that I almost forgot why I was there! I would highly recommend Olga to anyone that is looking for the PERFECT bikini wax! A friend said Olga B was the best and she is. i love the new location (hadnt been to any other) and i am now a Olga B fan. she's fun and puts you right at ease then it's over quick and easy. don't wait to get waxed like i did! call Olga and have a laugh! Please do yourself a favor and book an appointment with Olga B!. You will not be disappointed. Simply, she is terrific.Now, I swear by her and won't see anyone else. After a horrifying brazilian experience Kornellia Day Spa, I went to Confidence beauty salon based on the reviews here. Olga,Olga,Olga she is AWESOME! She was very warm and comforting and the brazilian was actually not that painful! I also got my eyebrows done by her and was getting compliments for a week after! I went to her a few more times, but because I live kind of far, I tried finding someone else in my area. I went to Lisa based on a friend's recommendation. The lady there was....ok. For me, Olga B is still the reigning queen of brazilans. She is quick, very thorough, and somehow makes a brazilian practically painless. Despite the distance, I will continue going to see her. Olga B is fabulous. She makes the brazilian waxes fly by with great conversation and makes you feel at ease. I recommend her to anyone from the experienced "wax-ee" to the intimated first timer!!!

This place is mismanaged and run horribly. From the bright orange room to the rushed and pushy staff, the experience at this spa/salon was the exact opposite of what one would expect from their time at a spa. Almost no time was spent at the pedicure/manicure that I received. I'm used to a foot and hand massage lasting more than 30 seconds... usually at least until the lotion has been rubbed in. She only massaged for a couple seconds and then wiped off the excess lotion. I don't fault her because otherwise she did a good job and deserved the tip I gave her, although it should be noted that the main reason ANYone gets a pedicure is to feel pampered and relaxed, which is not what happened for me.

I'm reading the reviews and I suspect that most of these have been created by the salon itself or they are hiring someone to do it. Too many repeat similar phrases and it's really inconsistent from what I know a regular review to sound like. That's a terrible shame and lacks integrity.

Customer beware. There's loads of better salons out there that don't need to fake reviews.

My hair was a disaster since i colored it black 6 months ago. The color grew out on top, stayed black in the middle, and faded to orange on the bottom. It looked awful when i walked in for my apt with David. He made an even tone color closer to my natural base and put amazing highlights. It is such a transformation and i am soo thankful. I get compliments throughout the day. Plus the staff are very friendly and professional. From now on this is my salon to go to. You would not regret an apointment here.

**This salon was not only one of the slowest places I have ever gotten serviced, but also a total rip-off and unsanitary. The staff was unpleasant and was more into socializing with each other than doing their work! It took forever to get my nails and wax done, and my manicure was chipping within 2 days? total rip off.

I would not recommended to anyone!

My hair was a complete disaster! the color was atrocious my friend recommended that I go to get my hair "fixed" with david at the confidence beauty salon. He is an excellent stylist who know what to do in order to bring out ur perfections. The quality of his work is amazing I couldn't have asked for a better stylist. I love my new look. I would recommend David to anyone who wants a new look or just to fix ur last stylist's mistakes! Absolutely the best!

I have recently had a huge hair tragedy the stylist I recently went to over processed my hair and then colored it darker then what I wanted. long story short my hair was breaking of and looked horrible my aunt recommend me her stylist named David I called him up he squeezed me in did a complete make over on my hair.from frizzy multicolored to sleek shiny and beautiful he listen to what I wanted and gave me more then I could ever ask for .I got a Brazilian keratin treatment remarkable highlights and a great cut. my hair looks and feels great I wish if I came to him sooner . book your appointment with David he is the best stylist!!!!

Confidence Beauty Salon & Spa is fabulous... Professional yet personable. Clean as a clinic, in a cute salon!
After getting more than one awful wax from a popular competitor, I decided to investigate my options. Two days ago was my first visit, and Olga B is THE BEST!!!
I have not had even one issue since my Sister ...... no redness, no bumps, no dryness, no peeling. I didn't think that was even possible?!
My faith has been restored. I will be back... Uh-mazing!!!Olga B is AMAZING!!! I LOVE CONFIDENCE BEAUTY SALON and will definitley be a return customer!.

I got my first Brazilian there (2/9/9) and i was actually scared that it would be horrible after all the stories i heard, But I wont lie, it was painful but not nearly what people had said. I didnt take any pain killers or drinks. What was very helpful was the fact that the young woman Olga B doing the waxing talked to me while she did it. We talked about labor pains, working, stripping (well the fact that male strippers get brazilians too), etc... She kept me laughing. The waxing was not long and drawn out either. I believe i was done in less than a 15 min. All in all it went well. The place is actually located in a great area and their presentation is great (the place setup is very chic). The staff there are very friendly, the place was very clean, I really was pleased just with walking in the door. You cant go wrong here. They will definitely see me back in 6 weeks. Thank you Olga B! I love you!

This is the place to go for a bikini wax. What a great experience. Olga B makes you feel really comfortable and is super quick. It usually only takes about 10 minutes. Parking is really easy and there is never a wait like other salons. You can shop there when you're done too. Prices are extremely reasonable. I was expecting to pay more. Olga B is great. She is super friendly. They place is girly and cute. The results are wonderful and I will be going there again in 4 to 5 weeks. I am addicted and it is a lot easier to maintain that shaving. Highly recommend this wonderful salon. Friendly service, fast and pain free!

The best back wax was I have ever subjected my body to. Seriously. This is the only wax I have ever had where after we were finished I did not feel like I still had wax and oil all over my skin. This was the worst manicure i've ever had. I left with nail polish all over my fingers, and when she buffed my nails she didn't clean off the little pieces of nail properly, so I wound up with bubbles in the polish. Terrible

Amazing experience, painless and fun. The place is very welcoming, friendly and neat. They used natural wax based of fruits or chocolate. My favorite one was the Chocolate!! As a red head, my skin is extremely sensitive and I usually have irritation or redness after getting waxed. I am so happy I finally found a place where I can actually pass the door without my body looking like a tomato!! You must also try the eyebrow shaping by Olga B She will re-shape your eyebrows in any way you want! A must to try! The only trick thing is that because they are new, you cannot put a tip on your card. So be sure to have a cash on hand for tipping! I will go again and again to OLGA B!!!!!!

Confidence Beauty Salon & Spa has a great atmosphere, friendly staff, and great stylist. I found Confidence through a website which was running a 50% off deal for a woman's wash and cut, and I'm very glad I did. Danielle did a fantastic job on my hair. She was very complimentary, comforting, and friendly. I appreciated her feedback and style guidance, and I would certainly go see her again. Thanks Danielle for my cute new hair!

This review is actually towards Olga B because she is the only one i go to for waxing. I must say that although she is young she is a PRO - seriously, i wouldnt trust anyone else but her and i am so glad i found her! Every experience i've had was a good one - she is extremely skilled and tries to make the whole thing quick and as painless as possible. Waxing hurts - especially a full bikini - but when Olga does it the pain is not nearly as bad as you expect and she does it so quick! i swear i am out of there in less than 10 minutes and the end result always looks flawless! I have had waxing in the past from others than left me with terrible bumps & irritation, but with OLGA i NEVER have that and my skin always stays smooth. The results last for a very long time before I have to go back. She knows how to talk to you to keep your mind off the pain and she has never made me feel uncomfortable or embarassed - and everyone who has been waxed down there before knows that it is not a very comfortable situation. Also, OLGA room is a lighter than the other rooms and she always keeps it clean and tidy. I HIGHLY recommend to make an appointment with her - she is the BEST!

I highly recommend Lisa for her wax I always get just bikini & Lisa told me why don't I try the brazilian, I was scared at first but she may me feel safe before she stared her service was very attentive, quick which may it almost pain free & she didn't miss a spot & very careful. This is the worst waxing in the city. I have been to places all over and never was I treated wth such callousness or rudeness. I am not recommended Lisa! The waxing is careless and the attendant ignored my requests. You couldn't pay me to go back Lisa!

I went to Confidence salon for a bikini wax and the entire experience was great! I am usually a big baby about getting my bikini waxed. When I called to make an appointment, the receptionist was very helpful and recommended Olga. I went in and was done in about 10 - 15 minutes and it was the most painless bikini wax I have ever had. Olga B was quick and thorough! Olga was super friendly and nice to talk to I won't get my bikini waxed anywhere else but CONFIDENCE+OLGA!!!!!!

On Saturday I went to this salon for the first time for a facial. I was seen by Lana who was incredibly sweet and professional. She gave me a liquid gold anti aging facial which felt unbelievable. It was so different from any facial I received before. It was a combination of a facial massage and treatment , I felt so refreshed and tightened afterward. You can tell she has a lot of experience ! Hands down, the best facial I've even had.
I absolutely recommend you go see Lana !

This place is clean, great atmosphere and has a very nice staff. When I went for the first time, Lisa took great care of me. I went back for a Brazilian (first timer!) and she was very patient with me. You can go elsewhere for cheaper service, but the customer care and attention to detail you get here makes every penny worth it! I love this place!

I went to see Olga today for a brazilian wax after reading the reviews on citysearch. She's really very skilled- quick (10 minutes tops), professional, she knows what she's doing and she gets the job done. It was the best brazilian I have had and it's truly the least painful a brazilian can ever be! Highly recommend Olga!

LISA is absolutely awesome - it's all I have to say!!! I am so incredibly pleased with my mani and pedi. I have gone to several different salons, but with no luck finding an individual who would do my hands/feet and wax the way I want, or even close for that matter. I was so impressed with the way LISA did my sister's Brazilian (she said that it was virtually painless) that I made the appointment two days later.She's an amazingly sweet and caring, too! While taking care of my nails LISA took her time to help me find the perfect shape and design (I am extremely picky) and I cannot thank her ENOUGH for her fabulous sense of style, plus it lasts forever!!! WHAT A TALENT!!! I found my permanent manicurist , and I am so excited and relieved! Thank you LISA, keep up the amazing work!!!!

I know it sounds kinda corny, "the waxing queen", but that's what this girl literally is. Her name is Olga!! I've been to several different waxers, but no one beats this girl. She knows what she's doing, and it made waxing better for me. Yes, waxing will always hurt, it's inevitable, but she has developed a technique to make waxing days faster but with less pain, and she works clean, one thing i like about her is that she doesnt double dip the sticks she uses with the wax and for some reason, (i'm someone who's really prone to ingrown hair), i have less occurrence of ingrown hair, which is a big deal to me since those suckers hurt like heck! I've come to realize that the right technique and cleanliness counts a lot! I'm glad I found her! Keep up the excellent work girl! See ya next appointment day!

Olga is awesome at mani & pedi. I tried many different nail salons but this is by far one of the very best places. Very affordable, I can take care of my nails more often and the highest quality. Confidence beauty salon is my favor for a new nail place. After reading the mixed reviews for Confidence salon and decided to give it a try anyway because it is close to my house and office. I cannot believe all these reviews.. i must have gone to a different place as the confidence salon gave me a HORRENDOUS experience. I regret stepping a foot in that place and and although i live nearby i will never go back. the waxer paid no attention to me and did her job like a robot. when i left i was almost in tears as the pain was throbbing all over my legs.
STAY FAR AWAY from that place

it was from far the worst spa ive been to.. it was not a spa actually... loud cell phones and conversation. poor or non existent customer service, disorganized.
i booked 2 manicures and pedicures and they could not fit us in at the same time. i left the place not relaxed at all and i swore that i would never go back. I won't even describe the way my pedicure was so bad that i had to another salon to have it fix..total waste of money and of time

What can I say that over 46 reviewers haven't said? Very cool, this place does great job and classy. I can walk in, get my hands and feet done any time i feel like doing so. I had to wait a few times, but really, i do not care. I have to bring some green for the tips, they do not take tips on credit card, but really, i do not care either. Yes, there were a few times when they were packed, i was asked to dry my nails at the table instead of staying on the spa chair, but come on, i understand. My nails are great every time. (Olga) did my nails.So what rating: between 4 stars for recommended and 5 stars for highly recommended in term of getting a good nail work done for you. I say highly recommended which is equal to 5 stars here. i think my math is right ;) 10000000000000 stars

I can't believe I never updated my review after having had several Brazilian waxes done here. Olga is the best. The first time I went to her (which was the first time I've ever gotten a Brazilian wax), she could tell I was a little nervous, but told me to relax and said that she would be done in 15 minutes. She lied, because she was done in 10min, and it was virtually painless! I always ask for Olga now!

This salon is the best salon that I have ever been too! I had my hair cut and colored and let me tell you, it looks amazing!! We did a beautiful warm chocolately brown with some amazing highlites! I went to Confidence Salon knowing that my hair was in desperate need of some help. I had grown out dark blonde/gold highlights that were slightly faded and really brassey. I knew that I wanted to make my color alittle darker for the winter. I also wanted a really good haircut with out sacrificing too much of my length(I have been growing my hair out for a year and a half). I was greeted by Danielle as soon as I walked into Confidence Salon. She showed me some colors in the Goldwell book and told me what was possible to achieve and what colors would look good with my skin tone. Danielle also said that she would give me a complementary protein treatment since I was getting color and a haircut. The color results were beautiful, a neutral light brown. We had to lighten my roots and slightly darken my ends, but the results were so perfectly matched. After that, she gave me medium layers and an awesome face frame angle/ long side bangs. To top it off, she blew out my hair with volume and light waves on the ends. I really got the "entire package" for alot less than I have spent in the past . I plan to go back to her in the spring to do a touch up and add some high lights back. I really recommend Danielle from Confidence Salon, thank you so much, I love my hair!

I went to this salon last night. I got a hair cut and a root touch-up from Danielle, and a brow wax/tint from Lisa. They both gave me exactly what I wanted. Danielle matched my color perfectly and the cut is very pretty. Lisa tinted my brows to the perfect shade and the wax was painless. I have extremely sensitive skin and the wax was gentle. I was very happy with the services. I have gotten compliments all morning from my co-workers! I will definitely go back to this salon.

I got waxed here on a cold morning and i was expecting to take off my pants and be very uncomfortable, but i wasn't at all. The heat was cranked up over the bed and the girl was really sweet. I read a lot of reviews before going here, and feared getting a waxer that was un-friendly or someone i was uncomfortable talking to. Personality matters a lot to me. Olga waxed me and she was rad. Very professional, warm and friendly. She also did a really good job, and it didn't hurt as bad as in the past.

I Highly Recommend waxing! It was my first time and I was suprised in a positive way! It was not paintful as I expected to be. If you want to have great job done & fast :: you should defenitly consider this salon.
I also did manicure and pedicure -- I was very happy with my manicure!!! IT was very nicely done. On the other hand pedicure was done not so great. I didnt like it at all. But overall its a great salon and we all have difference experiences.I will probably go back to this salon for waxing!

I came here for a Brazilian wax for the first time in my life last year. It was incredibly painful, and they managed to tug off a top thin layer of my actual skin which led to bleeding and "open wounds." I was NOT HAPPY, but figured it was because it was my first time. What was I thinking??? I am not recommended Lisa!!!!!

I went back again and it was still PAINFUL and left scabbing and bleeding. I was scabbing "down there" for the next 4 days. Let's be honest, us ladies get brazilians partly for our men, but with my bikini area in such a sad sorry state I did NOT want anything coming near my area

Relaxing place for a manicure and pedicure. The employees are very nice, and the treatments always leaving you feeling alot better than you did when you came in. I love this place for manicures and pedicures, but I caution you to stay away from the waxing services! Far away. I have never had a more painful and inefficient wax. I decided to cut things short when the technician Lisa removed a pair of tweezers from her pocket (not a sanitizing solution or autoclave envelope).
I'm bruised and still have hair in spots.

the reception desk is EXTREMELY RUDE I call there to confirm my an app & reception answer very cold but make my app any way. Got there & the reception told me that my app was not there & they didn't have any available spot for the next hour & she act as if it was my fault, I wish they had better reception becasue I was highly recmmended by Lisa but didn't see her that day. I found out about confidence Salon through "lifebooker" I booked for highlights and haircut for tuesday afternoon. When I got to the salon, Nelly was my stylist. Well, there is only one word I have to say ?gorgeous? , because that the word I hear from everyone. I get compliments on my hair cut and my hair style anywhere I go. I have been treating myself at this salon for over a year by different stylists but lately Olga Basov was my one and only. I have been asking for her service every time I go in. I got a pedi/mani and brazilian wax. It was great. I was well taken care of, and attended to. Olga did most of my services- she was so sweet and great. I've never had a brazilian wax not make me cry until her. She was very gentle and made sure I wasn't in pain or that she wouldn't burn me. I recommend her to everyone because I know how hard it is to find a great place for thoes special areas... Definitely go there!

Okay, I've had hairdresser drama since I was a child. I have long, thick, very curly, natural hair that virtually no one wants to, or is able to work with. I think I have FINALLY found my stylist. Rychelle is great! She's knowledgable about hair care and truly seems to care about the health of my hair. She is super personable and makes what is usually a really uncomfortable experience, something I actually look forward to. She takes pride in her work and is committed to reviving my dry locks. I'm already seeing real improvement after only 3 visits. I'm so glad I found her!!!

It wasn't until after the technician left and my nails were dry that I noticed how uneven the colour was (there wasn't a great choice of colours, I chose the darkest one I could find which unfortunately wasn't as dark once applied). The last technician there did the worst ones over but had the nerve to suggest that the shape of my nail was perhaps to blame!!! Even if that was the case, you NEVER EVER insult your clients! They looked decent enough when I left but by the time I got home one of my nails had turned white. I realised after that it was because of the oil they use to dry the polish - a really good technician where I work told me that you cannot apply the oil right after applying a dark coloured polish as it sometimes turns white. I remember this too late. I couldn't be bothered to go back and make them do it over, I just painted over them myself! What a waste of my money.

After being referred to Rychelle I was a little sceptical of getting my hair done becasue I have had bad experience with stylist lately, My hair was over processed and very dry and i wanted a color done and for my hair to look healthy and full again but instead it was ending up on the shower floor. After meeting Rychelle she and i sat down and talked abd went over diet and daily routine and what i wanted to accomplished. She then gave me a treatement color and extensions and when i was done i felt like a whole new person. People that i knew did not recognize me at all. It has been three weeks and it still looks like new. I cannot stop looking at myself. And after all of that i thought that i would be poor but the whole thing was under $600 and that was including the hair which is amazing as well. (that was half the cost of everything). I cannot wait to take it out and see how my hair has grown and what new look she will come up with next. I love this girl and owe her my life for saving me. Thank you girl you have another hair diva added to the roster. Tee Tee

i was supposed to get highlights at this salon and after sitting in a chair for 2 and a half hours, the results were absolutely nonexistent. i think my hair was more highlighted when i stepped in the salon. color did not develop at all and there were absolutely no highlights made. i was very upset with this and the colorist made it seem like i just don't see them. she asked if i want her to redo it right then and there but i had to leave since i was already late for an event. i was very upset, i wasted time and money with absolutely no results. they didnt ask if i want to come back nor they did they offer me anything at all. i had to pay and leave dissappointed.

OMG Ladies..... I have found the best facialist IN THE CITY!!!!! Her name is Larisa !!! She is the best!! So nice and prof!! I love this woman! I had a facial yesterday..My skin became so smooth, relax, healthy looking (especially this time of year!) Really the best facial I have ever had! Highly recommended!!! Larisa is the best, I am gonna go only to her after today! Try it! You will love it! I promise!

Ive been a client of Larisa's for many years I just have to say that I am happy i found her in a a new salon because she is the best. Larisa is very professional and has a lot of experience in cosmetology. One of her best talents is she can do a brazilian wax in 3 minutes without any pain. I always feel comfortable going to her because she always has high energy and very sociable. If anybody would like to feel a professional job Larisa is defiantly the best one.

This spa is absolutely wonderful and the treatments are reasonably priced, especially for the one-on-one attentive service you receive. I get facial from Galina She examined my skin and was brutally honest about what she could and couldn't do. I left there feeling unsure whether it was worth the money spent but after - my skin was completely clear!! I received so many compliments and feel amazing about my complexion now. It was worth every penny and more. I urge anyone looking for an effective facial to come to Confidence. I am confidence. It's amazing!!

I have booked this using Lifebooker (again) with a discount of 50%, and I must admit the service was soooooooooooo good i felt like paying the full price! The blowout was fantastic, it's the 2nd day and it looks EXACTLY the same. I have very problematic hair, but the mask that Rychelle put on my hair has had a tremendous effect on the styling! The salon itself is pettite and very cute.
I highly reccommend Rychelle as she knows her job veeery well! I'm going in for a haircut soon!

I called about 20 salons looking for a stylist who did relaxers before i found Confidence salon. i almost fell off my chair when i found out there prices started at only $35!
My stylist was amazing! She was very professional and totally knew what she was doing.She gave me a cute bob and side bangs,a relaxer and a conditioner treatment for only $65!
I will totally be back again and have already recommended to my mom and sister.

I came into Confidence for a facial. I have gotten many facials over the years and i have to say that this was one of the best that i have ever had. I came out of my appointment GLOWING. I also tried Accupuncture for the first time. I was nervous but Zorina was so good and trusting that i went for it. Accupunture facial was amazing. She even sat with me for 20 minutes while the needles were in my face b/c i was so nervous! I dont know anything else that has ever made me so relaxed and that felt so great afterwards. I recommend this salon to all of my friends. Everyone should check it out.

I received gift certificate to Confidence Beauty Salon & SPA for my birthday.It was my first time at this place. I got a facial by Irina. She really took great care of my skin. She is friendly, knowledgeable, and makes me feel comfortable. The setting was very comfortable and home-like. Staff members held themselves proffesionally and friendly. Found this new salon on CS and i thought that i would try it out. 100% WORTH IT! I got a mani pedi service done as a try out. the staff was super nice and not pushy at all. My leg/foot massage was amazing and my toes are ravishing! The salon is really big and they have a lot of services to choose from. It is also really clean which is so important. I will def be back to try the massages there. I 100% reccomend Confidence Spa

I had the most greatest time in this Salon! I`m a college student so I study and work and I don`t really have money and time for myself,my friend took me to this salon begging to come with her, I went there and didn`t regret any second!I had manicure and pedicure I can assure you that Eliana is the best mannicurist ever!!!!She even did my eybrows and brazillian bikini.Be honest it was my first time and I very enjoyed it! I thought that it would be very expensive,but surprizingly it wasn`t a lot,so I was happy that finally went out to get myself to look good(I hated to hide my hands because I`m a girl and didn`t have manicure).I`m very thankfull to my friend that she took me down to this salon and thanks to Confidence Beauty Salon.I hope you luck guys!

Well, what can I tell you about visiting this Salon.I`ve heard about it from my husband,he had haircut there so he recomended it to me, i went there and i totally changed my look ,i got different hairstyle(i didn`t change it for about 5 years and it`s difficult for me to get use to my new look)cause i wanted to try out smething new and fresh.I risked it ,i asked for some help and hairstylist Mila took a look at me and she already knew what I needed(I wasn`t sure if I wanted).Well now I`m feeling like totally new person I got use to this look at very first minute after all work was done and most important that my husband loved it.Ladies I`m telling you that you better check it out !

I was a first time customer to Concept salon and I absolutely loved it! Axana did wonders with my hair. The color and cut are perfect! I`ve been in many salons in Manhattan and Queens but I couldn`t find a good stylist and colorist.Evrytime when I was walking out of the salon I wasn`t satisfied as I was when I walked out of the Confidence Beauty Salon.I got great haircut done by Nelli and I was FULLY satisfied and very happy with my color, highlights and my haircut. I got so many compliments from my clients(I work in the Bank, so I have to look perfect ),co-workers and even neighbors!I am definetly coming back to this salon.

I was extremely happy with the level of professionalism and knowledge of the people who work in this salon. I had an excellent facial, that I really enjoyed! (It's usually not easy to please me). Interior design is done with a very good tase, relaxing music, very high quality products, nice and caring personnel. I am glad that I found this place and would highly recommend it to all my friends.
