We stayed a few nights at the Ravel Hotel. The decor was beautifully modern. The bathroom was very different.. If you had the sliding doors open it would be open to the entire room. The bed was very comfy which was great after the tiring day we had. They have a little shop down stairs to get food like sandwiches and cereal. We really enjoyed our stay.

I came here for a friends birthday around September (due to global warming the day was super nice!) and couldnt get over how nice the bouncers were, how great the dj was, and the VIEWS! the only thing i didnt like was that a jack and coke cost me $16! CRAZY! So now i know next time I'll bring a date ;-)
Pros: the Views!
Cons: Overpriced drinks!

Great space, bring you wallet and patience to the bar
by CSMobileUser
I love the space here, LIC is finally bringing more class to the entrance of Queens. I have to say the bar service was overpriced even though the views are spectacular.

Beautiful Roof Terrace for Parties, unbelieveable views
by rachelbff
The best views of NYC from a hotel roof terrace. This roof top has the best parties in long island city. The music is great, the drinks are awesome, and the staff is friendly. This boutique hotel that is luxurious and new is one of the best places to stay in new york city, and queens. lic is the place to be, and this hotel is definetly a do not miss.
Pros: Unbelieveable Views
Cons: none

As Dorothy says..... There's No Place LIke Ravel
by hotellover
These guys on here are just cheap. I stayed at Ravel and I loved it. I travel a lot and I know good service. Ravel had a lot of different rooms to choose from. Just because these people chose the cheapest room they wanna complain about location and views. Get over yourself. So what they charge $5 bucks for the shuttle. Its a brand new Cadillac Escalade. It costs to ride in style baby. If you want cheap, stay at a motel, but Ravel is first class. I took a train to Manhattan and it took 10 minutes. And I saw a filming of Gossip Girls right down the street. Did you know that this so-called horrible location is 5 blocks from Silver Cup Studios, where they film Seex and the City. If Miranda, Carrie, Samantha, and Charlotte can walk around over here, so can I. Anyway, check out Ravel, its worth it!
Pros: Close to Manhattan; Brand New; Friendly Staff
Cons: Cheap people who write bad reviews

Ravel Says...
by RavelHotel
A response from Ravel Hotel....
Greetings Travelers,
Please do not be discouraged by negative comments and reviews. We ask that you judge for yourself the quality and comfort of our rooms. We opened our doors in March of this year and vow that customer service is our top priority. Our website accurately reflects each room in the hotel. The size, comfort, and style is comparable to any luxury hotel in Manhattan. Our room sizes range from 250 sq ft to 700 sq ft., each lavishly decorated and three times the size of most Manhattan rooms.
It is true that we have rooms designed with open bathrooms, however guests are more than welcome to reserve a room with full privacy. We find that couples enjoy the ambiance of our Open King rooms. Again, do not be swayed by negativity and ignorance. Judge for yourself; we guarantee you won't be disappointed. We hope to see you here at Ravel, where your hotel stay is never ordinary, but rather exquisite....
P.S. The last two negative reviews have the exact same verbiage. Maybe someone had too much time on their hands...I wonder :-) lol
Pros: Exquisite Rooms, Exquisite Service, Exquisite Experience
Cons: None
